No, you're better off shooting the injured in the head and then using defibrilators to revive them to full health again. If you have a medpack they'll just heal automatically within the medical potential field around the box. Stimulates white blood cells or something.

Doctors require 4 years of high school 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of medical school, and an additional 4-8 years of residency training depending on specialty.
Corpsman and medics require a high school education or GED.
