Long story short, im selling my motorcycle and I want to treat myself with a nice fun with some of the money. Looking at getting either a PS90 (later sbr), a Steyr AUG, or an FAL. Which would you get? Any guns you would get instead? Ammo costs aren't a concern.

Id pick the aug because i used it when i was in the army but i think the FAL is more fun
FAL because I have an autistic obsession with Rhodesia.
How are the built in optics on those? I love the aesthetic of the A1 but knowing me id break the glass in their somehow and have to get a new gun, or can you just swap the receivers?
Whats the best brand? DSA? I'd put wood furniture on in an instant.

Seriously, I'd get the FAL
The DT MDR with OSS cought my fancy, and so did Aklys Defense AKSV "Velociraptor", so maybe one of those.
Velociraptor is over 4k, and the mdr + oss is price unknown, and both are nowhere to be found though.
I don't ride it as much anymore, and I lost too many friends from em.
Plus I still have another one incase I get that itch :^)

Im not sure because i used the a3 but i think you can just replace the scope
Ps90 is the worst choice. The other two are good though, especially the steyr

I found it to be a very underwhelming experience. It was a bit like shooting a 10/22 except that I was paying out the nose for ammo.
DSAs aren't great but it's the only new production FAL available. Get a parts kit gun if you can.

If i get a parts kit ill still have to buy a DSA receiver right? Is it a bit like slapping an AR together or is it a more in depth build like an AK involving rivets?

I'd get a B&T "pistol" and get a brace for it. Either the GHM9 or APC9
Like everyone else is saying, I'd skip the PS90 for sure. It is as much a meme irl as it is said to be online and the same goes doubly for the pistol. They are $500 guns imo.

If you're looking at that involved of a build, how about something like a CETME-L kit?

Well, i wasnt necessarily looking for that kind of involvement but if it was the only way id do it. I've seen the cetme kits on apex before, not too much a fan of g3 style

Snatch a Rhodesian FAL or that .50 AR clone for cops
aesthetic are perfect imho, but i had to shoot with the a1 version in the military (mandatory), the scope has a 1,5x
magnification and the stupid circle in the middle. the target was 200m away and it was harder than it should be to hit; it was 1m in diameter. if you didnt know the a 1,80m man fits exactly into the circle.
