This is truly the end of days

>soldiers will now be trained in bird hunting in preperation for the inevitable drone wars

>one man out of every British platoon is equipped with a Holland & Holland and a tweed vest

Not an RPG.

Time to break out the skeet shooters.

reminds of isis using drones to drop frags and nail bombs on iraqi trops lel

It kinda looks like an RPG-27

I don't know effective these would be. EW on the battle field already makes it difficult for blue forces to use surveillance drones.

Why not just use a guided rocket?

Because not everybody can afford a fucking attack helicopter you absolute waste of oxygen

>Not am RPG.

You sure? Looks like one of those 5E gender flipping elves to me.

It's not a Rhandheld Panti-tank Grocketlauncher

*Ggrenadethrower

>Not an RPG.
An RPG-27

except you don't need a helicopter for that

Not everybody can afford an atgm. And you generally need line of sight for atgms. With a drone you can sneak up without putting anybody at risk. It's like a tiny recon/attack helo that can be carried around by infantry units.

Lemme know how many guided rockets can loiter.

Simple radio jamming or what are the counter measures?

so it's an even slower and less accurate ATGM

It's RPG-26 not 27

So instead of making ATGM's cheaper or giving them NLOS and loiter ability, you prefer to duct-tape a bad AT weapon to a bad drone and then pretend that this is an improvement?

Just make ATGM's better. Don't waste time improving something which is already shitty.

I like it, goddamn import bans

>what are the counter measures?

That the drones would have? Non at all. Even being put into GPS mode and being told to release weapons at an area, they would still be vulnerable to EW. Either from the base or from aircraft.

I admit they would make a neat ambushing weapon but I'm unsure of the range they have.

Wouldn't a rpg have enough recoil that would require extra stabilizers or something to keep it in place while firing?

I believe an rpg is technically recoiless. this is because force out the rear of the launcher is equal to the charge that launches out the rocket. Hence backblast becomes an issue.

>A weapon to surpass metal gear?

Kinda lame TBQH. A much smaller drone fitted with a shaped charge would be better. Small, cheap and capable of penetrating armor. Disposable.

>armies entirely made of fudds and hipster drone controllers
what a time to be alive

>move the center of the reticule from the target center to whichever direction the wind blows TOWARDS
Err, what?

Lol. My wifes boyfriend gave me a Nintendo Switch. I soldier now.

It can only fire one shot anyways, it doesn't matter if the first shot causes it's aim to get thrown off.

>also webm related

The rocket will turn towards the wind slightly because of the stabilizing fins.
