Help me not get jew'd

Is 400 too much for a mosin nagant?

Fuck yes! Unless it's a Finnish m39

yes

For a bog standard 1944 izhevsk?
Punch him in the fucking jaw.
For an [SA] marked M38, eh, it's a little steep.

Absolutely yes.
Let me stop you right now. The Mosin is not even close to its real value right now as morons kept buying entire crates of them to shock the market and it's a cheap shit rifle going for $400. There are many modern bolt guns going for way less money than that (with scope!) but if you really want cheap milsurp get a Yugo M48 for $250.

If it comes with that girl no

Even for an m39 that's still kinda high.

Hell yeah. If you must have milsurp, look for a K31 on GunBroker. Otherwise, if you're just looking for a reliable bolt action raifu, Savage's Axis and Hog Hunter, Ruger American, and Tikka T3 are all ones you'd want to look into.

Also, 6.5 Memedmoor has plenty of cheap Wolf ammo, so it's not a bad chambering if you ever consider shooting 500 yds+.

Yes! unless you are gettin a scoped one and all the neato extras from the period!

Tfw I see scoped mosins for 1.2k+ at my local gun shows ...

A dollar is to much.

Once bought a used Ruger American in 308
cost me $237 and that’s for a modern rifle that accepts an optic and shoots more accurately out of the box.
I could get an aftermarket upgrades but the nugget is stuck being a nugget.
Upgrades on a nugget work backwards and make it suck worse idk how that works but it’s true

I would never pay more than $200 for a nugget, which basically means i’ll Never own one.
I’m fine with that, especially since better, modern rifles are available for less.
You can get an AR for $400

Depends on the Mosin.

True, I'm sure that there are some no guns people at the shows that overpay for their first rifle since they saw it in their games and had to have it. Can't blame them though. I made some poor buys when I first started.

>I would never pay more than $200 for a nugget,
A $99 Mosin is a good gun, a $199 one is okay, and a $299 one is pure theft.

>You can get an AR for $400
An AR makes a fine first rifle, especially if it's

is 400 more than 200?

KK Thanks fellas I figured that was the case

300-350 is not bad if you want a mosin however 400 is pushing it.
