Only when I have to because they stop working.

My M-16 is self cleaning

disgusting

post the internals of your guns right now

Every single range trip. Half the fun is taking everything apart to be cleaned and reassembling. Pour a drink and put on some netflix while you work. Quite relaxing and fun. Almost as much fun as the actual shooting.

Every time I fire it.

this is an aberration, probably for testing purposes.
i clean after every range trip. what bothers me, is that you can neevr get it perfectly clean. there is always shit in nooks where you can reach, sometimes i wish i could just dunk it all in a dishwasher

No.

>He doesn't spray carb/break cleaner up in his star chamber

Lol do you even have to turn your rifle in son?

every time
>stays accurate
>love the feel of a well lubed action
>excuse to drink 6 beers in the garage

>he doesn't completely strip and then take a bath with his raifus

I should have taken a picture of the Winchester 95 I took a shower with, pretty sure it had original 120-year-old dirt in it. It took 4 rinses before the water stopped being brown and black.
Protip: a super hot rinse will evaporate a lot of the water before you can even towel dry it.
>that finally twang of resistance before the barrel snake pops free
I think you know where I am going with this.

Depends on the type of gun and if its for range or SD use

>tfw it's been a while since i cleaned the guns

>How often do YOU clean your guns user?
after every shooting session and when I feel lonely.

Every time I go to the range, but only every time I go to the range. I've been busy and depressed lately, so I haven't gone shooting in probably about 4 months. I clean them, and then coat all the internals and the inside of the barrel in oil though. It's probably about time to clean them again. I didn't think to clean my SKS's gas tube the second to last time I went shooting though, and it was full of corrosion that it took me a half hour to scrub and wash out. I should really check on it.

this minus the netjews

Why don't americans clean their firearms?

its like a knot pull-out 2bh

The virgin cleans gun every time he shoots
The chad shoots until it malfunctions from the dirt then throws the gun away and gets a new one

>doesn't spray brake cleaner into his mouth

Depends on where I go shooting and how much I shoot. If it's innaindoor range normally after 2-3 trips. If it's outdoors, every time I do. I notice shit gets inside the gun more when I go shooting outdoors versus the range. Plus I go desert shooting so I get to visibly see micro dust or dirt getting inside where the lube is still in it.

stop

The chad holds the cartridge in one hand and violently pokes the primer with his other

People that don't clean them regularly (if they're being shot) should have them confiscated

Like child services but for neglected guns.

Shit I barely even wash my balls, let alone my guns. You wish you had this much freedom.

I do a barrel sweep after every finished hunting trip/day at the range and if necessary apply wood oil to wooden shafts. In depth cleaning of the action only once in a while when I notice that it is dirty.

This is a good idea, I too think we should control gun ownership even more than we already do. I'd like to add people that store their guns with one in the chamber and leave guns in their car overnight.

Do you just not consume media? Every book, movie or song that isn't a garage recording has had someone's hands on it that you don't like.

Every time I shoot and sometimes when they haven't been shot in a while.

no

Just finished cleaning three of mine from a range trip this past Saturday. I still need to clean my gf's pistol though. I don't think she would clean it herself

Why? Just answer me why someone would need so many?

>NEED

why do you NEED a gun user

I grew up shooting an 8mm mauser with corrosive ammo, so I got used to cleaning the gun every time.

Is that going overboard with modern guns and ammo?

Whenever that start looking dirty or if I think I'm not going to shoot it for several months. My goto rifle only gets cleaned every 1000 rounds or so.

about every other range trip or when accuracy drops

Every 1,000 rounds or so.

Yea.

Always check your barrels lads

Every time I shoot and on the winter and summer solstice

Every time I shoot. Even though I know its unnecessary I choose to because its therapeutic.

so you fire small brushes covered in cleaner?

>not preparing for the vampire uprising by shooting paintbrushes dipped in holy oils

>Cleaning YOUR own guns

Fucking poor fags, SGC does it for me after I’m done shooting

>using holy oils to fight vampires
Are you fucking mental? Chrism is for anointing, not cleansing.

Why is this also me

I pretty much give them a basic bitch cleaning after every range trip. Except my Hi Point. I go out of my way to abuse the bitch. Still 'works'.

after every shoot, for a couple of consecutive days to make sure I got everything, and to give time for the solvent to do its job. I picked up the habit because my first 4 guns were all milsurp and I was shooting corrosive, then it got reinforced in the army.

I still need to clean mine from last Friday. I dont think I used any super corrosive shit...

I fight vampires with Hoppes no. 9 and brass cleaning rods.

I pirate 100% of the media I "consume".

>Sergal
VERY bad taste.

After every trip to the range, or after a single rounds been down the pipe!

You sir are a P.o.s... Your guns deserve better then your negligent ass!!! CLEAN YOUR SHIT!!!

With corrosive ammo (or blackpowder, for that matter), you really would have to clean it after every session, but with normal modern powder, it's not that necessary, you could clean it like maybe once a month or so, or every 3rd or 4th trip or something.

I guess the exception is .22 rimfire guns, that stuff tends to get pretty filthy, so giving it a light scrubbing every 100-200 rounds or so isn't a bad idea, otherwise it starts giving you failures to fire and what not.

vampire internet defense force detected
you fagets are almost as bad as the skinwalkers.

More often than I should. Kinda fall into a trap when putting it back together I get worried. So I go to the range just to make sure no issues. Then I shoot a little bit more cause I paid for the hour damnit. Well shit, I need to clean this. Partial OCD and having guns can be rough.

Attached: Drinking away the awesome.jpg (768x768, 88K)

Holy hell this. I wish I could have just a very smol range inside of my house where I can just shoot a few rounds to make sure I put everything back together correctly.

Is actually easy to open a gun? I don't own so I don't know a lot about gun?

>VIDF counter shill
To aspiring vampire hunters, go with the tried and true holy water and wooden stakes. Don't listen to this blood sucker trying to lure you into using ineffective weapons.

I feel you. My first gun was an M48 and I fire Romanian ammo out of it. Shit gunks up real bad so every time I take it to the range, I took apart the bolt to clean and swabbed the barrel.
It kind of turned into a habit.
I also do a complete (or at least as close to it as I can get) disassembly and cleaning once I bring something home for the first time.

I find that the best tactic is to just find out where they live, then destroy the place with a wrecking ball, letting in bright daylight.

its fine, it was just some Tulammo

I clean them as soon as I get them home from the gun shop and then I never shoot them.

You in 805? Want to go sat?

After each time I come home from shooting. How well I clean them depends on the number of rounds fired through them.

my dad never once cleaned his ar-7. It was pretty gummed up when he gave it to me. had at least a thousand rounds through it, but mostly kept working as long as he kept putting oil in it. The hammer/trigger spring wore out and it was light striking. Probably didn't help that the firing pin was basically coated in sludge.

Cleaned it off and replaced the spring and it's fine.

SHALL

Are you anons me? I literally will lose sleep over wondering if it’s completely clean and In working order.

Probably about 1,200 rounds

Attached: 1499131809889.jpg (4032x2223, 2.09M)

Welp, before the Queens niggers took it, I used to pull my HK apart once a week just because. Plus I like the smell of Hoppes #9.

I havn't cleaned my 10/22 in 4000 rounds and just did it finally. Gunk was fucking caked all in the action and the only reason why I cleaned it was it finally decided to start jamming on me. Run them til they stop...

Gud werk. I haven't paid for any media for over 15 years.

Absolutely disgusting. I bet you smell too

The chad simply urns up to the enemy and stabs him with the whole cartridge like its a knife. And he does it with a .50 BMG too.

Variety is the spice of life user.

Primer end first

Every range trip. I get home after a day at the range and meticulously clean each part.

A weapon is only reliable as its maintenance cycle. If you don't clean your weapon, you should not expect it to function properly.

Also heavy use uncleaned causes accelerated wear patterns.

never because I don't own a gun because I haven't saved up enough yet and I still need to get an ID

I clean 80-90% of my guns after every range/hunting trip.

But i have some beaters that i have never cleaned, some cheap AR's, 22.s and bolt actions. I rather spend the time i would use to clean these making more money, because i could buy multiple more if they ever break because of this neglience. But i will most likely survive with cleaning them anytime something goes wrong with them.

Watching anime, cleaning my guns and eating food has been my after range tradition for a century now. Even back in the army.

Attached: kalashnikov.jpg (1035x649, 103K)

Because freedom.

You sound like a commie son...

Also, that is like a thousand dollars in dildos... imagine all the shitty beater gats you could get.

After i shoot them at the range/oil if i go a month or two without going to the range. I clean and oil my trunk shotgun every few weeks though bc i live in right by the ocean and humidity is killer. I once had a 28inch extra shotgun barrel that i forgot about in my trunk for about 6 months and had to clean off a shit ton or surface rust

OwO

Every time this is posted I get jealous.

Attached: 1525851126654.png (334x794, 58K)

This is fucking retarded.

Pretty sure there's more money in dildos than in guns in this picture.

Every range trip I clean them but not to the point of being immaculate, just so the chamber/bolt isn't gross and patches come out of the barrel either white or mostly cleanish if I've already run a few through, with no visible particles if you look through it.

God damn it, now I want to shower with a dirty gun.

What have you done to me Jow Forums?

A proper beast dildo collection can intimidate and frighten an intruder, causing a moment of hesitation while you cock your pistol and say "Make your move, punk"

>A proper beast dildo collection can intimidate and frighten an intruder, causing a moment of hesitation while you cock your pistol and say "Make your move, punk"

Conversely, a proper pistol can intimidate and frighten an intruder, causing a moment of hesitation while you cock your dildo collection and say "Make your move, punk"

since I shoot corrosive surplus I'm forced to clean it every fucking time

This. Wipe externals down after range trip or once a year if they just sit in the safe... Clean if it gets really bad or accuracy degrades on rifles.

Every other range trip I disassemble the guns I used for a thorough cleaning.
