It's hot and it's dirty, but I've never had a stoppage and my AR is pretty basic, DPMS lower/ bolt RRA upper.
Yes, it smells funny shoots fire balls. My original upper was 16" carbine with no flash hider, you could see 12" fire ball in full day light. It truly is wonderful ammo. Opening my last spam can was a bitter sweet event.
