Looks like the 9mm is already out and available.
I'm not usually the vidya type, but am I the only one that sees this? It's something about the forend.
The front does have that sort of vibe to it. It does look way better than the stock 995.
Definitely. I've been interested in a Hi Point but can't stand the look of them, so I think I'm exactly the target audience.
I've been wanting one for ever. I just want a bullpup that won't cost a fortune. $250 for stock, plus another$300 for carbine? Sign me up
> a hi point carbine stock that actually looks rad
Great! Question is does it still have to use hi point mags?
It does, They did state that if they reach 10,000 units moved they will work on a custom 25-30 round double stack magazine for it.
I can see that happening. The stock actually looks good and is affordable
10mm when?

According to this now.
god damnit i wanted to save money this paycheck
Just email them first to check, These aren't linked directly on the site, you have to manually add the caliber as a -9 or -10 at the end of the address to be able to reach the proper page and add to cart.
I wasgoing to say it wasn't up when I checked last night. I kinda doubt its ready. if it isnt linked on there site. its good to know its in the works.
Hole.ee.fuck. yup me too. Welp boiz looks like I'm buying a hi point. Only thing that was stopping me from the 10mm carbine was the length
They are, Their FB page posted up about emails going out to pre-registers (email newsletter folks) and people on their already confirmed their orders went through. I want to snag the 9mm myself since I already have one.
Single stack mags will always be a deal breaker for these things, even if this thing makes them more effective and stylish.
The HTA stock apparently has a magwell insert that is large enough for a double stack magazine. They've mentioned that if they ship enough units they're going to look into building a double stack magazine for the thing.
The .45ACP version now has access to a 20rd magazine as well, Redball makes this sorta goofy looking double to single stack magazine that is apparently pretty workable and doesn't look massively retarded.
what is that, a bullpup hi point?
The RedBall 20rd 45ACP magazine in question. It hangs down a bit but not to a hilarious extent.
Looks more like this abomination from CODAW to me
fuck all bullpups
>all those screws
looks like a cheap airsoft toy
You'd think that after the effort of making this you'd design it to take Glock mags instead of the single-stack crap the Hi-Point comes with.
That's fucking stupid.
I just don't see the benefit of having a rifle-sized gun in a tiny caliber. I'd definitely get it if it came in .50AE or some other crazy handgun caliber.
Because they're fun. You should try one sometime.
AWWW YEAH! I've been waiting for this for a long goddamn time. And right after I set my sights on a nice M24/47... hmm. Well, they'll probably not run out of production anytime soon desu, as long as it's not some Nerf gun level bullshit...
Looks like I'll be buying myself a Hi-Point this year.
How the fuck is that retarded?
I've shot a couple. They just feel like slightly lighter recoiling rifles. Not too much cheaper than .223 either.
It’s a good concept but without highpoint manning up and uncucking the magwell to accommodate ((((((glawk))))) mags, I see no real benefit.
I’d love to see this design modified to accomodate a m11/9 or masterpiece arms carbine though. This design with the MPA 5.7x28 might be something I’d buy.
I was about to say "yeah looks cool but it probably costs as much as a Linda and I'll just get a Sub2k" but after reading the page, I am officially fucking interested.
Just cut the magwell off and have some soiboi print you a replacement.
Hi-Point makes a 10mm which presumably they'll end up making a stock for, if I got one of these I'd get it in that since I don't have any common caliber handguns for it to share ammo with.
>retard poorfags buy $300 gun after fees
>buy $250 stock
>doesn't even shorten the gun up more than 5 inches
>stuck with a fucking $600 bullpup single stack pistol caliber carbine when an ar is $400
this is why the poor are poor
I can think of better things to buy but I can think of worse too
Agreed. If the whole package was $3-400, I would jump on board, but unless you get a helluva deal at a pawn shop or something, I just don't see the point.
But an AR isn't bullpup.
There is a huge difference between a $300 Hi Point and a $400 AR. I know because I've owned both. The former is designed from the ground up to be cheap but reliable regardless of what kind of garbage ammo you're running through it. The latter has had so many material and build quality compromises done to it to get it down to that price point that it isn't worth the decreased reliability. It doesn't help that most poorfags with $400 ARs run shitty Tulammo through it as well.
FS2000 Standard was a dead fucking ringer for it.
Not adopting double stack mags from the start is retarded, having propriety magazines is even more so.
Wait, this is my reply to you:
PSA freedom kits or just buying their completed upper and lower is about $400 give or take $30 and are reliable for what they are. $500 gets you a factory gun from a ruger or smith.
If we were talking like $200 bear creak/chink shit kits then I'd agree with you.
I don't particularly care for PSA but assuming it isn't a dud out the box, then it should be fairly reliable and you get a gun infinitely more useful than a 9mm hi point with mags that cost $20 for a single stack.
you act like that's a benefit
you can build a 11.5 pistol for less than a hi point in a shitty stock and have something more usable at the same length
I agree that single stacks are dildos, but this was also during the ban days. Proprietary doublestack magazines are pretty much unavoidable in this case though. Either you're going to have to pray that glock mags feed into the chamber properly and the bolt engages the presented round consistently (lolno) or design your own mags. In this case, the latter is probably the better idea. That's going to take money. Lots.
The Hi Point is the OG PCC, the 10 round mags are an artifact of the 90s assault weapons ban era. They're not a product of the modern "9mm PCC that takes Glock mags" craze.
