Honestly its single shot and far from tacticool so Jow Forums will hate it but the Thompson Center Contender isnt a bad little starter gun. For 200-450 you get the frame, a barrel, a pistol grip. For 100-350 you buy barrels in whatever length and chambering you want. For 50-150 you can get pistol grips, traditional rifle stocks, folding stocks, pistol grip AR style stocks. You have a pistol, rifle, or carbine of whatever cartridge you want with 2 minutes of parts swapping. Cheaper than buying a new gun to just get a new contender barrel when you feel like trying out a new cartridge.
