After reading thought the fatty thread making fun of CZ owners I didn't realize Jow Forums has so many obese people. I'm sure that's the standard for Jow Forums as a whole, but I did think Jow Forums was a little different. I imagined this board's demographic being veterans, 18 year old scrawny kids, southern people with fairly good upbringings and maybe the occasional fatty here and there. >nobody cares about the yuropoors
Being into guns and being totally out of shape seems like a very strange combo to me.
You have yet to realise almost no one on /k owns any guns
Gavin Williams
Firearms is by and large an American hobby. You get the occasional Canadian and eastern European poster, but if someone actually owns guns on Jow Forums they're American nine times out of ten. And 70% of the US population is considered overweight or obese, though the actual figure is slightly higher for men (~75%) who make up the vast majority of gun owners, so you could reasonably assume that greater than 70% of gun-owning Jow Forums posters are fat lards.
Evan Parker
Jow Forums is a progressive board of out of shape nonguns. that's why there is so much thicc chocolate girl posting
why is it that only the asian guys on this board own guns and lift? has there been a total asian takeover of this board? it'd explain the trap posting tbqh
Lol this isn't high school. Go do some boxing or jiu jitsu, it'll make you fit and actually hand to hand combat proficient unlike lifting. I can't tell you how many new swole bros have come into my bjj school that I've casually tapped out. And they never come back after a few days either, but all of the chill dudes with no egos tend to stick around. You're not fit or good in a fight cause you lift. It's better than the average dyel who does nothing for sure but against anyone with some decent mma training you'll get your ass beat that I guarantee.
Jaxson Ross
I'm a 110 lb skeleton.
Jayden Flores
> 5'6" > 180 lbs @ ~17% bf (yes I lift) > dr says I'm "obese"
Those statistics do not consider other factors correlated to gun ownership though, such as age, race, geography, etc. I think the phenomenon is heavily skewed because we're talking about an obscure online Nigerian horticultural business management blog comment section.
Skinny skeletons and John Candy-lookalikes everywhere.
Brody Thompson
>implying lifting shouldn't be a standard element of any training regimen If a man can snatch his own body weight multiple times and trains to roll around and choke people with clothes, does that make him less of a man?
I bet your a dad bod that gets choked out by Chad and he makes your girl give him a bjj afterwards.
> I imagined this board's demographic being veterans, 18 year old scrawny kids, southern people with fairly good upbringings and maybe the occasional fatty here and there. I unironically thought the exact same thing, went to a Jow Forums meet up and was absolutely disgusted, not only by the fat but by the sickening, scraggly, patchy and unwashed facial hair.
guns are the great equalizer, Im surprised that more fatties and basedbois dont like them desu
Jose Howard
>6'3 >150 lbs >spent afternoon playing with my new ACOG >just got a gym membership so I can start dem gainz Not everyone is fat, desu. Also, I rarely see obese people where I live, so I barely believe the statistics.
Matthew Thomas
I'm 170 lb. By no means fat. And I used to be into lifting bud, probably can out lift you desu. I can deadlift 405, can bench 2pl8, and can ohp 135 a few times. Can also bust out about 20 pull ups full rom. Now, are my lifting numbers amazing for a powerlifter? No. But way stronger than the average person. My routine is just submission grappling, pullups, pistol squats, and running now. This is k not an aesthetics zyzz thread. Martial arts are actually useful.
Hudson Bell
Right, manlet.
Kayden Barnes
Useful for what?
Michael Miller
See Lifting is a supplement to fitness not the main focus of fitness. Most pro mma fighters such as stipe, khabib, etc don't even lift weights regularly at all. Bodyweight exercises and grappling are superior to lifting for everything other than picking up heavy things. If you're implying that someone can't be very fit and aesthetic from Bodyweight exercises/martial arts you are wrong.
Evan Evans
>Being a living human being and being totally out of shape seems like a very strange combo to me. ftfy Most people are lazy fucks. I had higher expectations for Jow Forums.
Daniel Young
Wow. Your boatload of assumptions and your retarded opinion makes me pity you.
Justin Ward
Come by and visit Albuquerque. 9/10 mexicans here are diabetic blobs. You'll feel like Mr.Olympia.
Yeah I'm fat as fuck. I stopped soda and I'm eating better and working on being more active. Not sure what else you want from me. Getting into guns gives me a reason to get out more and it's also made me realize that I want to do more in life like hiking and camping and stuff.
Thomas Brooks
I've got a little muffin still but I'm 6' 195-200lbs and hit the gym for two hours regularly, I would say I'm fit. I don't really care too much about definition, only really focus on improving my performance for reenlistment and staying healthy. Cardio is my worst right now, only averaging 8-9 minute miles.
With a 34" waist? I think not. My point was doctors equate lean mass and adipose tissue when calculating BMI.
Mason Wilson
lmao-ing at your life
Brayden Torres
Nigga I weigh over 200 and have a small waist. Shits not hard. It diet, workout consistency, genetics
Angel Torres
Dios mío, las chimeras chinas...
James Sanchez
Exactly. That is my waist measurement. Again: Dr. is calling me a fatass while I still fit into the same pants I wore when I was 140 and was in very poor shape.
Blake Clark
U should fight him
Adam Carter
Alaska >39bpm resting heartrate? I guess we're not fat fucks afterall.
Jaxon Edwards
>started by a scrawney ass white dude >most of the people in meet up pics are white >most people on /soc/ are white >Asians are consistently bashed on most boards as either degenerates or sexual objects
Unless there's a mystical asian nation that no one knows about that really hates everyone else, you're full of shit.
Ryan Morgan
>there is so much thicc chocolate girl posting This is sadly a blatant lie.
Colton Green
>This is sadly a blatant lie. tfw we have constant trap-posting. there is a serious lack of qt chocolate girls being posted on this board
I'm actually in decent shape, relatively speaking. I can run up to five miles at a time which I know is chump change for actual soldiers/sailors/Marines, but it's better than your average Burger or Canuck. Wanna know the average amount of pull-ups an American man can do? Zero. I can do a non-zero number that I don't want to say because it's low, but relatively speaking, I'm in shape And that's all that really matters.
Blake Parker
Its not that people are fat, its that they aren't trying to change themselves for the better. Good on you user, keep at it.
Blake Ward
>You're not fit cause you lift Okay retard
Daniel Perry
oh my GOD
Levi Peterson
I'm fit. Don't care what other people do though.
Ian Bell
I’m fatstronk. Work out and lift at least three times a week but I could stand to lose 80lb, too.
Ayden Hill
>Southern People with fairly good upbringings
Can confirm
RowTide
Hunter Gray
I'm 6'3" 180 and ~10% bf control your calorie intake you fucking lardass
Jordan Sanchez
No you're just fat. Fatass.
Jayden Mitchell
not gonna lie Im not as Jow Forums as I could be >not really weak >not really strong >good broad shoulders/frame >just have fat
My problem is sugar, I fucking love pure leaf tea and despite my love for it, its killing my fucking pancreas and fucking with my bod
I'm about 10 pounds overweight. I used to be 50 pounds overweight but I stopped drinking beer for 2 months and lost 40 pounds. That's literally all I did. Beer makes me a bloated fat fuck.
Isaac Adams
I'm a low-T skinnyfat basedboy.
Justin Smith
My brother. I too am a poverty teir skeleton. I can barely keep my gun on target off hand.
Jayden Brooks
5'10", 155lbs, 25 years old I joined the air force about a year ago, before this I was 160 lbs of beer fat, before that I was 120 lbs walking talking Mr Bones. I'm lean as fuck now, next step would be to build some muscle I guess. Maybe I should be posting this on Jow Forums
Samuel Hill
I frequent on weight a lot. I gain a lot and lose a lot. I've gained and lost a 100lbs a couple of times. It's the nature of the beast inside of me looking for a fight. I've gained weight back to being the fattest I've ever been (25-29 years old now). I haven't been on a scale yet but I know I'm approaching 300 soon. I used to go hiking a lot and gym a lot and weighed 165 and bench pressing 315lbs at 5'7 back at my Jow Forums days(all natural and no supplements before sustaining a sprain on my tendon) and meming doorbrah. I've been drinking every night for years which is destroying my body. I still press on and go to the desert to hike while sobering up just so I can go shooting and have non range fun alone. I really need to take control of my health soon because due to my focus on work, my company is going to inherit about a million in debt by owning a new company and plan on paying it off in 7 years then earning good profits. Meanwhile I'm trying to fix my 12 yr relationship that went to total shit and 3 kids later. I'm taking care of the kiddos myself (and did so by myself there for a few months) mostly and they live with me. So yeah health wise I feel like I'm 50, I need to stop drinking because it's killing my gains mentally and physically for years. Sometimes my poop looks red and I'm afraid to go to the doctor. I'm going to learn reloading next weekend by taking a class and am going to learn reloading 45-70. I've seen some shit, done some shit, want to do more shit. I want to get in shape and hunt skin walkers. I've had some real fucking encounters with shit in the wild before that I want to document. Weird shit happening before trails close. I want to spend my destress time lurking off trail with my marlin 1895 at 2 am again hearing the hounds of coyotes.
Newfag please, this was a literal meme on Jow Forums for years.
Justin Brooks
I’m pretty Jow Forums. Was skinny fat but been going to the gym now for almost a year. It’s not too hard anons, after the first couple weeks I’d always quit before but idk I just said ima stick with it. And i did. It’s a nice feeling when you used to find some task tiring or hard and then you do it after a few months of working out and it’s noticeably easier.
Daniel White
>6’4” >broad shoulders >chest over 48-50?? inches across >280 pounds I honestly have no idea if I’m obese or not considering I used to be 260. I started lifting weights in sophomore year and then took football where I immediately dropped ten pounds and then gained twenty over the season. Help bros
