The gameplay loop is very boring and discourages the use of the better gear you find due to the risk of ultimately losing it, which means games tend to be running around with trash tier gear because the basic stuff you find can service just as good as the high end weapons, which defeats the point of even going out and getting that good gear in the first place.
The amount of shit you can do to the guns is nice though.

Spartan or Believer mindworms are completely fucking terrifying but they do have weaknesses. Artillery and Nerve gas will completely fuck up Mindworms.

Fucking same, my favorite faction is the Peacekeepers, their story and mindset is the best.

I had a modified their faction with a +1 Morale bonus, with fluff that their belief in the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights means that they can rival Spartans in the right circumstances. Add the fact that a pure peaceful U.N. caused Earth to get fucked, so using WMD's WILL cause Lal to flip shit.

With a slight boost to the Peacekeepers they become how they should have been, with a modifier is that they can't declare war unless attacked or if atrocities are being done.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Wildlands is ok but they removed a lot of weapon customization so it makes it less "Jow Forums" I reckon
