I love when Ian and Karl and MAC make these kinds of videos and owners of the tested guns come out to scream about how bullshit it is. OF COURSE IT'S BULLSHIT. They admit that.
All these tests do is show how a gun will work when dunked into mud or whatever and then immediately function. Not just dropped on top of the grime but fucking submerged and coated in it. When does that EVER happen? Most users of these guns don't even see the outside of the concrete jungle especially pistol users in the case of MAC's torture test.
What's also hilarious is the people who come out to call the weapon shit for not functioning when covered with muck. Gun doesn't work when mud gets into the action? No shit? Must be a shit gun sell it off and tell the military using it to do the same.

I didn't say it was purely cost, I was saying that's what people are willing to pay and that combined with the high demand drives the MSRP up. The military pays less than $500 per unit for their SCARs.
