Nigger question

is a MAC-10 worth building?

Attached: thisiswhateasyewoulduse.jpg (640x640, 132K)

No.

if you build and hide one for when the world ends yeah

a .556 sten gun would probably be a much more worthwhile project

/thread

Are you going to have fun with it? Is it going to make you happy?
Than yes, absolutely.

If you want to LARP as a '90s villian than fuck it.

Going to post pics of mine asap I find my camera

>5.56 sten gun
Holy pipe bomb, Batman

Semi auto Mac 10 just doesn't make sense

I am intrigued. Is this possible?

Yes, but it would be very heavy. Sterling made a prototype of a similar gun but in 7.62x51mm

I dont care if its heavy. I think it would be a cool af range toy

Anyone who types "Holy ------ Batman" in any context whatsoever needs to go to reddit and stay there permanently.

Fuck off, nigger. That expression has been around longer than you've been off the tit.

"Uh oh, he called me out on being a reddit fag. B-better say nigger so they think I'm one them!"

It’s always worth bringing more guns into the world user

Just leave, tourist. The collective IQ of the entire site drops continuously as long as you're alive.

Tbh a tech 9 would me more fun

Tec 9 scaled up to a rifle in 300memeout

I would suck Stalin’s cock for that

I know reddit fags like you will never fucking leave, but I hope you at least assimilate to the culture. You probably will. You'll get used to talking like us, thinking like us, not spouting off your retarded soi reddit memes. Eventually you'll get curious and make it to Jow Forums.

Seriously, why build something thats been done before when you can do something insane?

>Jow Forums is collectivism
And that right there is how I know you've been here for fewer years than I have fingers on my right hand.

The 7.62x51 sterling was lever-delayed blowback. If it was straight blowback the bolt would have to weigh somewhere around 11.5 lbs.

>I know you've been here for fewer years than I have fingers on my right hand.
I don't know the 5 you have plus the 5 interlaced ones of your gay lover would make him pretty oldfag.

As if everyone here isn't a fag. Nice attempt at an insult.

Fucking autist kys

>is it full auto?
>does it use a 30 round clip?
If so, then yes

>admitting yourself to be a degenerate.
If you're not leddit, you're at least pure cancer.

Tbh I'm buying the flat soon, and welding on a magwell that I'm still trying to design to accept Glock mags. Should be a fun gat, and I'd like to stick a brace on it.

wouldn't that just be an AR pistol with one of those buffer remove kits?

Is the swiveling rope a vertical forgrip or nah?
It has a different angle depending on how your holding the gun.

Yes, I would love to have one.

Burn in hell

Im a different user

Not enough roundy and not blowback

I frequently have fantasies about arming a force of partisans with homemade bolt bolt submachinesguns, including Mac 10s and Stens.

Holy kill yourself, reddit

I had this exact though for the MAC. Its shit simple brick frame looks great for trying various proprietary delay mechanisms

Where is it at, kike

They're fun guns.

Not as easy, you would have to make it delayed blowback to make it not stupidly gigantic and heavy.

Fuck off.

Sterling did it in .308, so .223 would be doable.

something on your mind?

>tfw no stockless openbolt straight blowback 308

Yeah, but it wouldn't be a lot like an Ingram by that point.
Also, recoil is still fairly stout, the Sterling prototypes were conceived as potential last ditch weaponry, if something would ever be needed to be made in huge quantities really fast.
They weren't really devised as some kind of new standard for a service rifle.

You could definitely make a delayed blowback .223, of course, that's been done and done before.
With some kind of springloaded buffer piece by the rear of the receiver, you could tame even more of the recoil, like is done on the FAMAS and HK33, and you *probably* wouldn't be putting the magazine in the grip of this gun, so you're looking at a separate magwell, in front of, or behind, your pistol grip, depending on your preference, thus you might as well make the pistolgrip an ergonomic plastic or wood piece (maybe even take an AK or AR pistolgrip from a bin). You'd probably also want a long barrel to make some kind of worthwhile use out of the .223 cartridge, and a handguard or VFG would help with handling.

If you're good at working with metal, it could probably be a pretty good rifle, but it would have preciously little in common with the MAC M10. It'd definitely be some cool kind of ghetto-fusion between the FAMAS and the HK33, depending on how you'd do it.

Does the do/k/ument have blueprints for stuff like this? All i can find is blueprints for .22 zip guns, mostly from decades ago

Who the hell cares about whether it's like a MAC 10?

I don't know, actually, I guess I just for some reason subconsciously took the context of the OP post into the fourth post for some reason.

Just scale them up user... The hardest part is finding the springs.
