Small Caliber Carry Thread

So I'm technically not supposed to carry into work, and I've got pic related: this interesting French WWII bringback that is basically an altered pocket hammerless. It's got some thick custom grips that my grandpa made a long time ago, so I was considering making some of my own that were thinner and deep concealing it. Anyone else here carry anything smaller than 9mm?

I carry an FIE titan in 25 auto. I work at a ghettoass mall at night and I feel good always having a strap on me.

Makarov that I can slip into my pockets for summer time. Found some Hornady critical duty for it, and I'm good to go. Wouldn't go below.380, but that's all based off of YouTube.

I carry a .32 smith and wesson lemon squeezer when im at work.

Ive been waiting on mags for my Spanish pre-ruby pistol.

looks like you also have a spanish pistol.

me and a buddy have really gotten into spanish pistols. He carries a spanish vest pocket .25 acp

>Anyone else here carry anything smaller than 9mm?
9mm is a small caliber user. one of the smallest in fact.

Micro caliber then mr ruleslawyer

>lexan grip to count rounds
Your grandpa rocks, user.

I EDC .22WMR, but I'm rural as fuck, it's for critters not people. Can't really say if I'd feel comfortable going that small in a different, more crime-ridden life, but I'd definitely go for an LCP converted to .32NAA.

There are .32 ACP rounds that pass the FBI ballistics test. Those guys who insist on the .380 minimum are every bit as on the spectrum as the fuddy-five boomers.

mark twain with a colt hammerless?

colt 1903

Not my preferred carry piece but it's always with me.

I want one of these.
I wish they had a longer barrel option, too.

I didn't even know about those. I wanted a sidewinder but damn now I need one of these too

Correct, it's called FMJ.

32 actually suppresses amazingly well even in blowback pistols...the 45 suppressor looks cartoonish though.

pls tell me you don't edc with the suppressor

>work for chair force on their base in business casual
>would get anally raped if I ever got found out to be carrying, so I don't
>have to rely on chair force base security forces to protect me from threats

H...Hold me.

I don't EDC it at all. I carry the 81FS.

I'm in the same boat.

Ill probably pocket carry one of these when I get around to buying mags

Are you the guy that also carries the hi power? What holster do you use for the .32?

I carry a .380 PPK occasionally, normally I carry my CZ P01 though. My gf loves this gun, though I want to find her something she likes in 9mm with more modern ergos.

How does the PPK shoot with hot defensive ammo in it?

It's not bad, it had a break in period of probably 200 rounds, no problems after. My gf put 100 through it a couple weekends ago at the ranch, I was pleasantly surprised at her accuracy. I carry Hornady XTPs in it.

>colt pocket hammerless vs. savage 1907
which do you like more for .32?
I think the savage has the edge, for me.

does your dad know you're in his gun safe user?

Hey Paul you're a nigger

That's a neat looking knife. Brand & model?

I've been thinking of picking up a NAA Guardian in .380, does anyone here have experience with it or can recommend something similar?

Mah niggas.
Just picked one of these up last week. Haven't gotten to shoot it yet, but I love how it fits in the coin pocket of any pants.

Probably one of the first conceal carry handguns and probably still viable. The fn 1900 32acp. Though I don't carry it really.

>Probably one of the first conceal carry handguns
Are you kidding? pocket pistols predate the metallic cartridge revolution, and there's no end of pocket revolvers from the second half of the 19th century.

Attached: deringer_knockoff.jpg (4000x2667, 619K)

I probably should have clarified. I meant semi auto handguns. I know pocket revolvers, derringers, small flintlocks etc. Existed far before it.

PPK .380, it pocket carries like a champ. I'm also not really supposed to carry at work but I don't think that is a fair ask so I ignore the policy.

I should probably get a glock 19 or something practical for winter carry

but goddamn do I feel the need to buy a snubnose

Talk me out of buying one..
How reliable are they?
Is 22mag like .380?

.22mag, from a handgun barrel, is very much like .32 ACP from any barrel.
(.32 ACP gains very little from a rifle length barrel, but .22mag from a rifle is a whole other thing -- misunderstanding manufacturers' rated velocities as applying to pistols is how we get retards saying 5.7x28 is the same as .22WMR.)

Cheap Kershaw, don't remember which one, sorry bro.

Thanks.

>I'm technically not supposed to carry into work
So don't.
