Modularity of a design doesn't have anything to do with product or accessory availability, it simply has to do with the design. Consider something like the ACR. Even though the caliber kits aren't yet available for it, you wouldn't say that it isn't more modular than an AR, because the modularity of the thing is tied up solely in the design of the thing.

define modularity. modularity should increase efficiency, mlok does in some areas but has weaknesses in others. mlok is lighter, sleeker and perhaps easier to manufacture but its also inherently weaker, has less aftermarket support and offers less heat insulation.

Just got my first AR15, PSA upper and lower, was fucking around getting familiar with it, magazines not always wanting to lock all the way in. I ended up cambering a round and on cycling the action my hand slipped off the handle and basically dropped the bolt at half force double feeding a round. Got everything out ok but I can see a little bit of copper from the jacket of the round on the feed ramps, seems to be coming off ok. How stupid am I and is there nay way to get all of it out easily?
