I guess I may have phrased that poorly. Of the guns in the inventory 4 were free to me from family (Berthier, Sears shotgun, Colt, and MAK-90) over the years, and 8 were below $300. The most valuable single item is the fully assembled AR, which between the lower, parts kit and BUIS is around $700. I guess I meant that in comparison to the guys who post collections with a dozen $1,000+ AR builds I felt like it was cheap.

Any manufacture of title II weapons requires a serial number and the makers info engraved or stamped on the receiver. This is even on the form required when you register it.

You don't need to engrave the additional information like most people do (name and location) if it's done on a preexisting firearm with factory serials. The only time you would need to add it is when you are selling it. Just like home manufactured guns not needing a serial until it is sold.

The guy was talking about making an SBR from an existing firearm.
This is new manufacture of an SBR and will absolutely require a new serial and manufacturer info to be engraved.
Homemade guns do not require serialisation at any time unless you live in a registry state.
Serails are required only for title II items and for firearms made by an FFL. Home builders are not required to serialise and firearms may legally be sold without serials.

I think mine isn't feeding properly because of not enough powder, but sometimes it feeds two, or one remains in the cmaber and tries to load another. Any advice suomibro? I'm thinking just get more typical, brass ammo but I wanted to ask around first
