Kitty seems interested. Nice.

Yeah, he’s a giant sigfag.
What caliber is your single shot, OP?

>What caliber is your single shot
It's a 12 gauge, with at least a 2 3/4 inch chamber, it's not actually marked, but I assume it doesn't fit 3 inchers based on its age.

Ditto, just got one for $68 . Bit scared to shoot it. No clue if it could handle smokeless

Uffda, looks older than mine. Mine was made in 1909-1919, and it is marked as being forged steel all in one piece. That said, I'm probably only gonna shoot bird shot from it.

Did some research on mine. I believe the model was produced from 1898-1914. Right near the early adoption of smokeless shotguns. I'd probably stick to birdshot as well to be safe.

But cool shotgun. What kind is it?

It's a Hopkins and Allen arms single shot 12 gauge

Okay dumbfag here but isn’t that thing behind the hammer supposed to be a switch for a double barrel?

Model 70

Bought this little thing for $90 last week, the hammer is dented but I'm getting a new one.

The lever is used on most break action shotguns. Just used to open the chamber to load a new shell

Is that an H&R? Just repaired one last night, decent little gun

Thanks yo

Cool, they were around for a long time.

It's an Iver Johnson Champion. Funny how it was a total poorfag gun then, but now the build quality makes it actually pretty nice by today's standards.

My first gun. Got it a week ago, waiting for my ear/protection in the mail before I go shooting

god i want a fuckin cowboy gun so bad

An extremely early serial number (23,XXX) Remington model 10 that was used as a prison guards gun. The barrel nut is out of position which I’m workinf on. Just need to find a tool for it because I don’t want to use a hammer and screwdriver.

Got a Vortex 6-18x and a Harris bipod for my Savage MkII.
Making smol groups with .22 and getting weird looks at the range is underrated.

cant just use some tissue paper? Or stop at literally any store and buy ear plugs? Nice gun. I wouldnt be able to wait.

>a weapon to surpass metal gear
Only the shotgun is new, got a p good deal on it

Mossberg 9200 for $150. Figured it was worth a shot and I've been looking for a 3" chamber slug capable gun anyways. Anyone have one? I haven't had a chance to get to the range with it yet. Would post pic but file size too big

Bought this today.

Y is it spray painted gold?

$150 on sale

Honestly I haven't had time with work and helping my parents move. Got a good price online and delivery should time up nicely with a couple days off though, I'm excited.

>not buying bad dragon
What are you? Poor?

What's wrong with being poor?

I have an IJ Champion just like that in 20ga but without the rubber butt pad. Has an ejector too.

Most recent purchase was a Kel-Tec SU-16. 40 day waiting period because CA and pawnbroker law on top of that.

Attached: 20180615_172653.jpg (2560x1536, 855K)

Of it didn't have the safety selector names, I'd unironically buy that just to fuck with homophobes

To clarify because it's a used gun they had to hold it 30 days before they could run the paperwork to start the 10 day waiting period just in case it's stolen.

Even though it belonged to the owner of the store and being registered that would be trivial to verify.

>40 day waiting period because CA and pawnbroker law on top of that.
Oh man that's fucking brutal. How did you like your IJ Champion? This seems legit enough for modern shooting, there's pretty minor play in the lockup, but I've handled much worse.

I shoot clays with it all the time. Principally I've been looking for any ss 20ga, and it's just the only one I could find for under $200. Gun buybacks ate most of the classic shotguns that I used to take for granted, although I shouldn't be surprised since most can't handle steel shot so nobody hunts with them anymore.

Anyway action is tight. I think mine was made in the 30s. Nice color case hardening on it too. I've shot buck and slugs through it no problem. I enjoy shooting it quite a lot, especially how the spent hulls go flying.

Only issue has been some play in the stock. Put some locktite on the stock screw which helped but there's just a little play that won't go away.

Picked up this Savage model 1907 in .32 ACP about a week ago. This one was built in 1911. I had to do a quick repair on the sear because it had a tendency to slam-fire. Took it out to the range last Monday and it ran through 50 rounds with no issues.

That plum is plum

I got a 12ga coach gun a week ago.
I'm just so cripplingly underwhelmed by it. Only reason I got it is because I put a lowball bid up on gunbroker and forgot about it, won it for 260. Came a little rough around the edges but nothing some linseed oil and cold blue couldn't fix.

I'm just more annoyed with it than anything. UGH, I won this gun? Now I have to pay for it, send the FFL info, and go pick it up. UGH, it needs some work. Now I have to give it some spit and polish. UGH, now where am I going to put it? My safe is full. UGH.

Why did you bid on it then?
Could have gone to somebody who wanted it.

If someone wanted it they would've bid more on it. Frankly they can get fucked and I do not care for their plight.

Just bought a Ruger GP100 in 2.5 inch. Not very practical from what I’ve heard but I liked the look of it quite a bit. Gonna plan to shoot it next week.

woh ur so kewl!!1!!1one!!

Got my first gun.
380 Taurus for 200 burger bucks.

It's stupid small but it shoots.
Hopefully taking the girlfriend shooting this weekend.

480 rds of surplus 8x57 Mauser, 32 stripper clips, and a swell box. Cat not included. This should keep my M24 fed for a couple months.

That's a pretty kitty

>swell

Wow where did you find 8mm surplus?

>implying your rollstamp makes a difference in a part that has nearly no influence on shooting performance
