I was gonna say, when I saw these adds as a kid I could not earn enough money in a month to afford one

would we be able to use our future bucks if we could go back?

*likewise, if we brought their dollers to now, would they have any significant collector value? if not, would they work in a vending machine

>Boomerfag implying his life hasn’t been on easy mode

>20 dollar Enfield
>Donaldducksmilelongerection.Jpg

>90$ for a garand in 1963
Not much has changed
I’d go for the m1917

If I could hop back in time and stash those away some where, a couple of those Italians for family sake and an Enfield because fuck it

All of them.

IT ISN'T FAIR!

Okay tard, no ((yous)) for you.

The double barrell

see
You could get both of those guns for almost the same price nowadays after you adjust for inflation. The Garand you can actually get cheaper through CMP.

garand m1

>$1000 in modern money
it'll be useless

he didn't say anything about going back in time and purchasing it with 1960s currency. some random poster is the one that started putting inflation rates into the equation.

that's gotta be a fake photo

>New M1 Carbines for $80 (about $700 today)

>tfw I was just at dealey plaza saturday, waiting for red traffic lights to go stand where he got shot

>implying Boomers didn't have to work hard too

The only real difference is there was a light at the end of the tunnel and society wasn't completely engulfed in degeneracy.

They could afford to fuck around a little more since debt wasn't as systematic

Also the work paid off better. Their wages and purchasing power were much better.

a bigger picture

>Millennial not realizing working for a living isn't "easy mode" because he's never had a job just supported by his parents.

Do you not know what a mortgage is? They just saved more and generally lived more frugally (didn't eat out or order in every night).

That Enfield, tho.
