I'm thinking about getting an Aim Sports 2-7x42 8.5-10.5" Long Eye Relief Scout Scope, but I'm suspicious of how cheap they are. I've seen the bad reviews on Amazon, but the ratio of good:bad reviews isn't a deal breaker for me. Does anybody have experience with this scope? Is it reliable?

hello guys i want to pick your brains about something. designing a new sidearm for wh40k it was supposed to be a curious mix of today's tactical ergonomics and wh40k looks and lore. tired /tg/ but they were not much help.

so how do is put a vertical grip on this baby that doesn't interfere with holstering it like a pistol but also functional and doesn't look too off in wh40k? i was thinking about how the mp7 foregrip works but obviously there is a fucking powercell in the way.

How do I into guns and where do I properly store them?

I got a star super, dunno if A or B or what exact model yet, on the way.
It's got a decent bit of rust and has either a damaged or misassembled slide stop and a damaged/misassembled/missing piece for the safety lever. Otherwise it is functional and it fires.
Should I refinished it? Or just knock off the rust and leave it?

Obviously I'd get it functional. Just dunno what to do with the rust.

so i was thinking something like this, but there are some issues with heat bloom when firing. i'm not sure if this is going to be a problem. there are no hot gasses exiting the barrel there is ionized air displaced form the laser channel tho. same issue with grabbing the mag with the power levels going on there it can probably get pretty damn hot.

they use the same packs. at least a great many designs use the standard galaxy packs both rifles and pistols. pretty efficient.

and the other thing i was considering, more realistic and the ugliest of the bunch. but you can actually put a mp7 like folding grip on this one i guess. that would save a lot of trouble. but damn it's ugly.

less range is more about the accuracy of pistols compared to rifles ergonomic wise i guess. it's probably also more diffuse beam but that shouldn't be a big concern in the typical engagement ranges. i have shot a glock in a roni once and god damn. i can hit a dudes head sized target with a glock usually but with roni on i can choose which iris i want to put them all in.

so that's the basic idea behind this abomination.

the only downside of the 3rd over the 2nd is if you have to replace the barrel and got to unscrew it (like on most lasguns), the second actually helps tons in that, while the 3rd makes it a gigantic pain in the ass.

i think the general consensus is that the gain medium and lensing semi-reflectors and other optical stuff is all in the barrel. if it gets fucked you can replace it all in one. doesn't happen too often according to fluff unless the barrel overheats a lot.

WH40k weapons are old designs recovered from STC fragments, and innovation is considered heretical by the mechanicum.
So praticality is not much of a concern when designing 40k guns

Have a forward folding grip there. When it’s unfolded, there’s enough room to wrap a thumb around the grip. When folded, the grip would slightly stick out in front of the barrel.
I’m not well versed in WH40k lore, but that should work out.

Glock has no safety. Yes you can keep a round in the chamber just make sure it is in a holster covering the trigger guard.

sadly barrel gets pretty hot i think. in front of the barrel is also a big no-no. that shroud is probably there so that you can grab it by something with gloves on.

notch may be there for some tool to grab onto to unscrew the barrel. something like a G wrench with on side grabbing into the notch, when you want to screw in a new barrel just turn your tool around or something like that. it's just my guess but no other discernible function i could ever dig up.

Magpul ACS is pretty hefty but still good. If you need it heavier throw some shit in the compartments. Also that is a terrible idea

Making the entire thing heavier is a terrible way to compensate for the front being too heavy unless you're never going to do anything but carry it to and from the bench at the range.

It is actually not as bad as most of these examples, the guys he kills on the lower floor have handguns with exception of two shotguns and a micro uzi (the uzi is not fired so it's not clear if it is full fun), the guys upstair only have rifles because they got them in the "gun room".
