One, a fuckload, or none. If his durability can't stop an inch of penetration through soft tissue, one shot through the jugular would be game over. If he is only scratched by bullets, then 10 or so dudes with submachine guns could possibly subdue him if he doesn't kill them first. You would probably need 50 to be safe. If his skin is unscathed from a single bullet, a firing squad of 1000 9mm miniguns couldn't really kill him, although the pushing force of all that flying lead would throw him around in a comical fashion.

If you're accurate only one. If you're not RIP. Guts has been shown time and time again to be vulnerable to conventional weapons such as swords, spears, and crossbow bolts. Guts might be able to fight through the pain like a Grizzly on bathsalts but anything capable of puncturing skin and bone can and will kill him if it connects in the right place.

He also has all of that alloyed steel armor, which may be resistant to 9mm. If we're talking current day guts with the dragon slayer, berserker armor, iron cannon hand etc it may not be possible to kill him with a 9mm.

Unless you get a shot to the head or throat? I don't think you can. 9mm isn't designed to pierce steel plate armor and a lot of Gut's armors are high grade plate. The Berserker armor is full coverage and I don't like the odds of gambling on an eye shot.

Worse, Guts has reflexes like a mongoose so as soon as you've got your piece up he's using that huge slab of steel as a shield and shield rushing you.

It'll get finished when he stops being stubborn, realizes he needs to focus on story and let other artisans draw the majority of the panels for him. Like Guts accepting help from others, Miura always said Guts was like a representation of himself. Miura is still in the Black Swordsman arc, eventually he'll get tired of drawing every single panel by himself and he'll compromise to finish the story. I think if anyone couldn't live with an unfinished Berserk it's Miura.

At the point in time when bullets can pass through the immaterial walls, when firepower takes up the entirety and eternity of space and time, all being stuck in a never ending cycle of life and death as bullets recover and destroy their bodies in rapid succession, when no one is able to think of anything but the sheer force of bullets flying literally everywhere in the immaterium turning the warp into a sea of automatic weaponry, then there will be enough 9mm to take down guts... Or at least almost enough.

Post-Eclipse, Guts exists in The Interstice, which allows him to bend some of the rules of physics, but I assume getting shot would kill him as dead as you or I.
