What Happen?

So 100 years ago we were shooting handguns with just one hand. Than later on we just stuck with tea cupping or any 2 handed stance.
Is it neccessary to grip handguns with 2 hands? Yeah I know it brings more stability.

People figure out how to buikd a better mousetrap as time goes by. Who'd-a thunk it?

Why do I sense the soi with this one?

That's not a CZ, if my eyes serve me right
>t. CZ owner

Yeah, but was it nesscary? People could hit shit with just one hand.

Might be one those Honor Guards, regardless the beard and flannel this day and age make me wonder.

it's not necessary to carry your gun with your hands user, you could get on the ground and fire with your feet if you wanted.

I ironically shoot more accurately with one hand.

100 years ago, people recognized the fact that handguns are for very close range fighting as a last resort.
In that circumstance, you don't need a 2 handed grip, and pushing the gun way out in front of you in an isosceles stance is actually a disadvantage.

Shoot 2handed when you can, but also train onehanded with each hand because you will need to carry other things, drag a casualty, or keep shooting if hit.

Kek, honor guard is the pistol he may holding. (((TFB))) caught hard shilling it along with other reviewers. 1st gen batches were apparently shit, but reviews and information was kept silent on that.

Not sure how they are now, but it's just another glock/S&W/poly9 copy.

idk dude, he doesn't look very soi at all to me. Not chubby enough, a fairly respectable haircut, no bullshit glasses or man-accessories.

this, basically. handguns are for self-defense and fighting your way to your rifle/carbine

>pushing the gun way out in front of you in an isosceles stance is actually a disadvantage

And pushing it way out with one hand is advantageous because ??????

Who ever said you have to push your gun out when shooting 1 handed?

Show me a one handed shooting position where you don't extend your shooting arm fully that is effective beyond grabbing distance. Of course if someone is on top of you or up in your face you hold him off with one hand while manipulating the pistol with your other.

Wow. Look at that non-extended arm. No, wait

You obviously didn't watch the whole video.

Then you're not shooting correctly with two hands.

I actually shoot micro-compacts better one handed because I can't get my left hand around anything but my right hand with those anyways, leading to it throwing my trigger pull off or interfering with the slide if anything. This is okay because nobody is going to go full operator in the situation a micro-compact is designed for.

Likewise for single action revolvers. Recoil recovery isn't a focus and they sit well in the hand.

The only time they advocate for the usage of a bent arm is when they speak of extremely close range engagements if not situations where someone is trying to actively disarm you. Which is the same as today only we use two hands whenever possible because of the added stability.

lol xd you posted it again!
Epic and screencapped

Wow, it's almost like that's exactly what I said.

>the beard and flannel this day and age
fuck off. you're more of a fag than any lumberjack

With practice you can be deadly accurate one handed.

I think it’s a PPS

>What Happen?
I will tell you.

1) We stopped using plow handle grips. 45LC had them, and they mitigated recoil by rotating the weapon up (which also made recocking easier).

2) We stopped using pepper boxes and derringers. Bigger calibers meant bigger recoil. No plow handle means you need two hands.

if you know, then what's the fucking question? Stability and quicker recovery of sight picture. Steadier aim, three points of contact, all that shit.

Shooting one handed is like chopsticks for your lo mein. Won't be as efficient as a fork but you'll get the job done. You know, eventually.

100 years ago people were shooting black powder .32 rounds.

Not 100% sure myself. There's just something effeminate about him I cant put my finger on. I think its mostly his posture and movements, not helped by his hipster mannerisms.

I do too. Under 25 yds, I'm on the target and putting one in much faster and more accurately with one hand.

Follow up shots and recoil mitigation became a thing. Modern handguns hold enough that you can dump 3-5 rounds at a target and still have plenty left. You can aim just as well with 1 hand as with 2. What you cant do is recover.

It's a handgun not a handsgun and just because you cant do it doesnt make it onions you dick biting cum gargler.

>this amount of projection

Plastic guns, female police, and magdumping came into existence.

>Is it neccessary to grip handguns with 2 hands?
No. It's not even necessary to use all your fingers on the shooting hand. Like Jerry Miculek said, anything works if you have enough time. But if you want to shoot fast, you'll have to use all your fingers and hands.
