By clean i mean clean the inside obv

>safe but less effective option
Ultrasonic cleaner and Simple Green
>super fucking toxic but effective option
"the dip"

Throw it in the trash and get a can that doesn't use welded baffles.

My AAC manual says to just let it soak in copper solvent overnight and then flush it out with soap and water

This. Ultrasonic cleaner + Simple Green is also safer than using the dip method. You get exposed to less toxic metals that way.

Also rifle cans do not need to be cleaned that often unless you are shooting .22

This. Completely submerge for 24-48 hours in carbon solvent. Drain immediately before attaching to gun and mag dump 2 mags. Carbon will blast outta the can. Be ready to clean your rifle thoroughly afterwards as it may foul the gas system pretty badly.

OP here, much appreciated

A sealed can should not require cleaning more than once every couple thousand rounds as long as you avoid shooting rimfire or uncoated cast bullets through it.

You basically never have to use the dip for a centerfire can. Dip is only for unjacked lead projectiles.

This. Simple green is the shit

It does alright on carbon and copper fouling, but yeah it's mainly for lead.

>Lead cast and powder coat 300 blackout
>Considering buying a suppressor

Are suppressors and cast bullets a bad idea?

Sealed suppressors will eventually clog up, even when using powdercoated bullets and suppressor dip. But it will take more than enough rounds to feel you got your money's worth out of it.

I do not recommend bare lead in a sealed can though.

Powdercoating done right will be as effective as jacketing, just make sure to size them after you powdercoat.

>2018
>not using a monolithic core
Enjoy being jewed by a company that knowingly sells you an unnecessarily difficult to service NFA item.

Where did you get said monocore?

K-baffles are quieter and usually lighter, but damn monocores are convenient.

I wish someone made a dual-core can so you could have a really erosion resistant Inconel blast and second baffle then a superlight titanium stack after that.

You can get chinesium "muzzle brakes" on ebay that fit inside the fuel filters in his pic.

Alternatively, if you have access to a lathe or an ill-informed machine shop you can make/commission them yourself, they're not hard.

What about that one dude who was arrested recently for making and selling "muzzle brakes" on ebay?
Have you heard of anyone being pursued for buying something like this?

Would it hurt to buy some airshit along with the order?

50/50 white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, it's called "The Dip" and will eat everything out of the suppressor.

This post violates US law.

Oh hey look it's Dead Air's newest suppressor.

Why is everyone in the industry ripping off Q these days?

No it doesn't

Where did you get the orange mags?

Center fire cans don’t need to be cleaned that much and rifle cans much less so than pistol. It’s for the most part a non issue. Rimfire needs constant cleaning.
Unjacketed lead not only leaves lead residue but some of the lead vapor becomes welded to the the can. You will not get this off without serious work.
The only advantage to monocore is ease of manufacturing. They are not the best performers. Fags tend to think they look cool and like them because of it.
They are just sand color mags with Rit dye. If it wasn’t obvious the covers are not dyed which should clue you in.

unless you use it on aluminum...then your aluminum is shit

purple power is even better, same company just super strong simple green.

>thinking the guy who is shit talking monocores is also the user with the dyed mags who is bragging on monocores
Sorry about your brain problems. Did you think I had multiple personalities?

Best answer. Non-user serviceable cans are the biggest meme thus far.

Just throw it away anywhere but the US civilian market, the tax stamp and artificial rarity and artificial difficulty of acquiring are the only reason they are expensive.

the dip stupid.

Monocore aren't as efficient as single baffles and cleaning with solvents is not an issue if you're using something like stellite or inconel or even 17-4 stainless.
Maraging steels are now even being used.

The sandman l for example can be cleaned really anyway. It's baffles are machined and welded stellite and the tube is 17-4. Pretty much will last forever and center fire rifle silencers don't need to be cleaned much anyway.

I really want a sand man l in the future but I do wish they used a better more quieter baffle design and added 2 more baffles. Also one with a short or long config would be nice.

Put it in your dishwasher

Who is non-user? How much do they charge to service cans?
You sound like you are some kinda silencer expert.

H&K patent - US5679916 A

They made and patented the fucking threaded baffle suppressor design in 1997...
