Ever since I was a kid playing JA2 I've dreamed of going to the USofA and owning an MP5K for home/self defense.
This gun is pure kino.
But is this really what it costs?
Kinda shit on my dreams.
I'm a programmer, but even if I get a job at Google in San Francisco I'll probably never be able to justify spending so much.
Are Kriss Vectors cheaper?

the gun is pretty sexy, yeah. I'd say it's worth it
Vectors run up to 2500 iirc
For a full auto version, that's about right.
You can get a semi auto version for a lot less.
Just get a paki or turk knockoff. You wont know the difference.
Don't use NFA items for home defense , since if/when it happens , your firearm will be confiscated by the police pending trial/investigation , a prosecutor/jury/judge will not look favorably upon a home owner who used a registered machine gun for the purpose of home defense.
By all means buy transferable machine guns, but please think of the repercussions of their use in a justified shooting.
Yeah this plus get an echo trigger , way less cost and no NFA paperwork.
Are echo/binary triggers stuck like that or can they still be fired normally?
just get your manufacturers license. it's like $3k/3 years and u can get all the modern full autos you want
the Binary type that built for the HK types can be fired semi-auto and echo.
Buy a second semi-auto mp5 and pull it out and hide the other before the cops come.
"So you fired 30 rounds at the intruder through the window in semi before he hit the ground?" "Yes officer, that's what happened!"

Here ya go mate
skirt with the law if you want mate , better to be am good boy and keep your cool toys.
But hey , live with your decisions.
Yes, lying about a homicide investigation is sure to result in it being ruled justified
Absolutely Justified.
full transferable machine guns will always be in the thousands due to the 1986 ban. Does cali even allow NFA items? Many leftist states ban them.
For an mp5 the closest you can get to a machine gun without going nfa is one of the omega mp5s which are around $1750 and a franklin binary trigger which is $630 total being $2380 before shipping or tax which is definitely affordable if you have a job and can just save a bit. Then again in San fran idk about cali law. Probably not possible due to their leftist laws
unless you are a security contractor or an Armorer working for the movie industry you will have a great deal of hardship trying to get NFA items in California.
If you were to live in cali you couldnt own a machine gun.
A semi automatic mp5 is about 2,000$ a binary trigger is $500
doubt the semi auto pistol is legal there either. In jersey based on our assault weapons ban its not allowed since they dont allow pistols with mags outside the grip and also handguards
Semiautos are pretty /comfy/
nice.
Wow, it's almost like the international media portrayal of America being full of machine gun toting schizos shooting people scot free is just propaganda. Yes, a legit select fire transferrable H&K MP5 is stupid expensive and a terrible idea for defensive use, it's a collector's item and an investment. Get a more affordable modern semiauto clone like a Zenith and use that for HD if you must use an MP5, you'll risk losing it to rust and poorly maintained inventory in a police evidence room should the unspeakable happen.
Also, if you truly, spiritually want an MP5, a Kriss Vector will never fill that hole in your heart.
That one is unsually highly priced, but it's not that far off. Figure about 30-35k for a transferrable MP5k. That price could go down if it's condition isn't great, or it could go way, way, up if it was a rare variant that collectors sperg out over.
>>Kriss vector
Yes, they're a lot cheaper, but only in semiauto. There is no such thing as a civillan transferrable full-auto vector because they are too new.
How about a Mac 10? Those are under $10k.
Your pic is an H&K full auto so yes, 40K is about right. If you want a semi auto H&K those are around 2,500. You can get a quality clone (PTR, Zenith) for 1,500. They're fairly expensive guns.
50k is dreaming unless that's basically an unfired original MP5K. 40k is normal for a gun with a registered sear that is or can be divorced from it. RRs are more like 30-35.
>Ever since I was a kid playing JA2
What a mess. Where's the dignity?
You also have to do ITAR shit for that right
>guns in california
that train left in 1989 my friend
I bought a sear for 30k this year and a zenith k for 1700 and 120 for removing the bolt block.
Fuck off with your 50k bullshit.
To add onto this in case there’s a way you think you can still do it you can’t have an sbr here and pistols have to be on the approved list
AOWs with braces are allowed.
But pinned mags outside the hand grip still apply.
You're an idiot
Vectors are 1000ish
I own one in 10mm and love it. If you're willing to shell out $400 you can throw a double tap trigger in it, which is basically as close as a civilian will ever get to full auto.
>spend $40k for a mg, or
>spend $30k for a sear, or
Spend $1500 and become an FFL 0702. Make all the MGs you want. No, they won't be transferable, but do you honestly give a shit about that?
Bullshit you found a registered HK sear for 30k.
>The leftist open toilet of San Fran and Cali as a whole.
>This.
You can only have one.
