This right here, the FG42 looks like a retro space gun, it's lovely.

I'd argue the most aesthetic of that category is the Luger P08 pistol.
Though it predates Nazi Germany by a couple of decades, so maybe that's cheating.

Also has the distinction in being the first automatic service pistol which was truly good, while looking insanely gorgeous and stylish.
It was the best service handgun in the world even, at least until the 1911 and then later Hi-Power would come around, but for those few years, it was unparalleled.
What else was commonly available which was as reliable, and had good cartridge like 9mm Parabellum, while being so compact, sleek and well balanced?
