Shitposting thread? Shitposting thread. Come on folks and post your best Jow Forums reaction images.

>the Fudd desperately struggles to find an argument against technology he doesn't understand

I've been great with irons for 22 years senpai. Don't tell me how to live my life

>He wants to try and focus on three things instead of one

Are you so stupid someone needs to remind you to breathe?

Yes I will because if you do something stupid I will point it out. It's literally action/reaction.

>omg red dots are so expensive!!!!!!! I cant afford this with muh disability check! I have to justify that its shitty. Someone so special and superior like me is always right so fuck red dots!

>You do realize that iron sights are unnecessary if you practice with your rifle as much as you ought to, right? It's not *that* hard to git gud with a red dot.

Wanna see something even cooler?
>You do realize that optics are unnecessary if you practice with your rifle as much as you ought to, right? It's not *that* hard to git gud at hip firing.

Incredible right you fucking idiot?

Iron sights are great fun and all, all my rifles have a set on them, but when it counts I'd much rather trust an optic.
I have yet to try a peep sight, though. That could be interesting.

Nothin personal kiddo

I just don't really like A2 sights

I shoot fine with irons. Probably better than you.
But I shoot faster with an optic.
Irons are next to useless at night / dawn / dusk / indoors or in other poor lighting conditions.
Red dots, not so much.

Hey chimp, if you practice enough you can 720noscop

You do realize that iron sights are unnecessary if you practice with your pistol as much as you ought to, right? It's not *that* hard to git gud with point shooting.

"Unnecessary" is not synonymous with "won't make me faster".

>"F-Five hundred dollars for an Aimpoint??? My mom doesn't have that kind of money! F-Fuck red dots anyway! Irons are superior! L-Learn how to shoot!!!"

A thread died for this.

You do realize that point shooting is unnecessary if you practice running as much as you ought to, right? It's not *that* hard to git gud with closing the gap and contact shooting.

I guess after switching from MBUS to a red dot, I liked my gun a bit less. I prefer the MBUS and felt I could acquire targets quicker... but I used them for quite a while and red dots are still new to me.

Red dots are just faster senpai, and keeping both eyes open is even faster.

I have irons on my A4 clone, purely for aesthetic. There's no doubt that when I shoot my buddy's carbine with a red dot it's infinitely easier to make follow up shots / transition targets. The biggest advantage is a wide field of view and you don't have to align anything.

As fast and as good as the best shooters are with irons, they're faster and better at the same ranges with red dots.

You do realize that running is unnecessary if you practice with your blade as much as you ought to, right? It's not *that* hard to git gud at teleporting behind people.

>practice with your blade
>this somehow increases your teleportation skill
shhhh, let the grown ups play

red dots are amazing, theyre like iron sights for the new world. iRonsights. heh.

best red dot on amazon for around 100 dollars? There are a fucking lot and I can't really choose

If you can swing another 100 the Holosun HS503GU is the best budget dot I've ever handled.

ive been looking at the holosun. its pretty attractive. what do you like about it?

I can get a Sig Romeo5 for $120. A front and rear set of quality irons are closer to $200+ and even basic bitch Magpul MBUS is around $80. Only the fuddliest of fudds would deprive themselves of a red dot these days.

Uses aimpoint mounts and looks right on them, and the auto pick up sensor is relatively nice.

I also like being able to toggle between the eotech reticle and the plain dot. Here it is on my AK.

So if i practice 10hours with irons to get as good as instantly using a red for won't 10hours on a red for be like 20hours on irons?

no user. no. now wipe your drool.

Red dots are superior in every way.

That said I just kinds like irons.

Irons on an AK in the dark are SUPERIOR to any Irons on an AR or Optic on an AR. (Unless its a NV optic)
AK's are the easiest thing to index - on this planet...
Period
Gtfo if you think otherwise.

Nope, that'd be Mossberg ghost rings.

You focus on the front sight you stupid mong.

>buying an aimpoint when you can buy the same optic for 120 bucks with a different logo

Why is that rear sight so buttfucking inefficient and primitive? How is this easier to make or install than a ladder leaf sight?

It's probably not. It still indexes better though.

>If you do something stupid I will point it out.
I'll do that too. This thread was a fucking mistake, go back to living in the stone-age, Gramps, the future is now.

Why hasn't that marin crops comic been posted yet

Og say rock gooder than iron. Why use iron when rock can get everywhere. Git gud.
