I wanted to get some thoughts on the 10mm version of this. These fuckers are expensive, but they are absolutely my favorite looking gun. I can't find anything out there as unusual or cyberpunk as this thing, and it seems the only videos for it are test videos where people complain that it's not a glock.

The sphinx pistols which are also owned by kriss are really good

pointless gun if not in full auto

>gun is the size of Manhattan
>barrel is 5 cm long

This. They're very impractical in semi. They do make sense in full auto. Not much else to say.

Pointless meme gun with useless recoil mitigation system.

it looks like a really cool cyberpunk corporate security gun tho.

>useless recoil mitigation system
on the other hand it is an excellent recoil amplification system. its also a great way to separate the idiots who failed physical science in high school from their money.

>spend the eighty years since the invention of the FG42 reaffirming that the straight inline recoil operation is the best
>stupid meme gun thinks shaking itself up and down will be better
10mm is a good choice for a sub-gun imo
I want to see a subgun in 9x25 dillon

you can still get somewhat of the full auto effect with a binary trigger

Do they even make a binary trigger for the Vector?

In terms of your question OP, I shot a full auto one and it was a blast. But like others said, if it's not auto it's pretty pointless

The action is super stiff on the 10mm and its really fucking hard to pull back on the charging handle, which is really slim. The polymer they use is really soft and dents easily. The trigger is meh at best and also really hard to access even if you wanted to polish it. If you buy the carbine version the fake supressor is glued onto the barrel with red loctite. Everything in general feels really loose and toy-like

I want to know this too

>people complain its not a glock
No they dont. It takes glock mags for fucks sake.

I complain it's not a glock because a glock is a fraction of the size and weight, takes the same mags, and has a longer barrel. Oh, and a glock is much cheaper too leaving you plenty of budget for customization and ammo.

Get a glock then fucking faggot

If you're actually thinking about buying one consider 9mm or .45 for how much it'll cost to feed at the range

It's not really a practical hunting or hd gun by any means, but loads of fun at the range (disregard the 'if it isn't full auto it's meaningless' memers. The recoil copmensating system is very noticable and enjoyable if you simply rapid fire it and compare your spread to other things rapid fired without that system)

Just remember to clean it every 300 or so rounds and reassemble it extra wet. The mock suppressor/extended barrel is definitely worth it

The people who say "it's pointless if it isn't full auto" are just salty that they can't afford one.

It does though, and that is part of the appeal. They knew their Gibson-loving fan base when they made this gun, and they figured out we would pay a premium for it.

You will not be able to find extended mags for it

Kek

God I hope that isn't yours. Just gross faux suppressor sticking out. What a fucking abortion.

This, it's just another needlessly heavy and complicated gun for semi.
Dead man's switch on a gun isn't a good idea user.

It looks better with the shroud

I tend to agree, pistol version is nicer. I even spent 200 dollars for a cuckstamp.

Why extra wet you say, user? Sometimes I think I pit a little too much lubricant on mine because at the range you start seeing the oil coming from the seam between the upper and lower

Does it count as an SBR or a pistol?

Watch the first 30 seconds of this, and you can see how the receiver flexes and bounces around when it's fired in full-auto: youtu.be/01DhYA0KVQM

1. Get the brace/pistol version, fuck the carbine
2. I don't think the extended mags are out yet so you will need to deal with that.

Just want them to bring out a 5.7x28 Vector, I'd be over that like stink on shit.

It would be cool in 9mm with those 50 round Glock 17 drums.

What's that barrel you have? The stock barrel is shorter.

It's a UMP style flash hider from HK parts.
I SBR'd the pistol.

Why would anyone want the pistol/sbr version over a carbine? I'm not 'dissing' your opinion, I'm just curious. Whether you're operating operationally or just fuckin around at the range, I really don't see why you would ever want a shorter barrel on this thing.

The magazine is relatively 'forward' on the assembly, not to mention that the minimum length barrel is fucking short and this fires pistol ammunition and is innately HUGE regardless of if you folding stock/snub or fixed stock/full suppressor/mock/whatever. Isn't this thing a fucking carbine? It's not like the 'minimum configuration' is going to fit in an IWB or holster or whatever in general. And if you're firing at someone so close that you can't shoulder the thing, why don't you literally use a handgun. It's the same ammunition and barrel length and at the kind of range you can't shoulder a 'normal' carbine or rifle, it's not like you're going to be doing a lot of aiming (whatever recoil compensation thing isn't going to matter that much, he's either going to be dead, or you're going to be dead before you need to dump the mag in sub moa or some shit).

It's like that shockwave shotgun. When it comes to practicality, it's worse than both a 'normal' shotgun as well as a 'normal' handgun.

If you think 'it looks cool' and that's why you like it, that's perfectly fine, I can accept that. However, if there's some reason that the 'sbr' version of the vector is considered better than the carbine (both on a operator as well as hobbyist front) just seems inexplicable to me. If you can explain; please do. I'm curious about the rationale.

There's binary triggers for them

>Do they even make a binary trigger for the Vector?

yes, they do.

Because I like it

Large caliber subguns are dumb.
>rounds offer little if any practical benefit over 9mm, as repeatedly confirmed over the last 110 years
>still can't penetrate soft armor without dedicated AP ammo with zero terminal performance, 9mm does just as well with the same style bullets
>double the recoil, half the contolability

Truth

SHALL

Newfag

9x25 Dillon is cool tho

Also what if you want a flatter shooting projectile to increase your point blank aim?

I think at a certain point we're just re-engineering the assault rifle

Whats the point in an expensive SMG that doesnt have a carbine barrel? Extra carry weight with no better accuracy?

I own one in 10mm, love it, it's definitely a fun gun, I plan to get a double tap trigger for it after a friend let me shoot their binary AR15.
2 things to note about the 10mm version
1: I had to polish the feed ramp as the barrel wasn't fitted correctly which lead to it jamming like a motherfucker, after polishing it with 800grit sandpaper and using metal polish on a dremel, I have had 0 malfunctions since, and about 700 rounds through it since then.
2: I have a working 30round mag that I put together from the kriss .45 ACP mag extensions, you NEED to sand the follower down, compress the spring, and dremel out some material, but I got it done in a day and it has run ~200 rounds through with no issues(given I had to do some tinkering at first, the follower needed more shaving).

That won't ever happen, they'd have to redesign the gun to fit the new, thicker, magwell

Russians knew it all along
AK confirmed best sub gun

>AK
>SUB

It feels really cheap and shitty, like they used ABS plastic for the shell.

and it still isn't a sub. It's nowhere near close to being a sub.

What is the benefit of that design? Carbines benefit from a long barrel, that thing looks like a pistol with a stock.

that's a really good URL

>Defined as sub by Soviet war machine
>user on Nepalese flag making forum tells me it's not

U rite u rite

Not as good as that triple aught u rocking
