Alright Jow Forumsommandos I'm going to buy this in a few days is there any attachments I can put on it like a heat shield or bayonet?
Memewave
Unironically don't, unless you are buying it for trashcan defending memes
>butter knife
>roll of scotch tape
You know what to do
Nope
>Alright Jow Forumsommandos I'm going to buy this in a few days is there any attachments I can put on it like a heat shield or bayonet?
So your plan is to take a gun where the whole point of it is to be small and light and then hang a bunch of bulky, heavy shit on it?
I don't follow
Youre new here arent you?
yes
Oh cool that makes it so you can shoot it one handed
I'd tell you to invest in an actual stock, but the thread title tells me it'll fall on deaf ears.
I know a stock would help a lot with the recoil but I'm looking for a shotgun in close quarters that isn't a complete bitch to lug around
Stocked shotgun with an 18" barrel?
get the opsol mini clip, a laserlyte centermass green laser, a steel heatshield, a wooden corncob style pump grip, and the oversized safety
Too long
Aw hell ye
XS Big Dot.
Rail and red dot sight if you want.
Ammo
Minishell adapter for lols
This is literally all you need.
>Dropping the dosh on Gucci aftermarket wood
>ruining it with a wuss strap
ISHYGDDT
>Greentext the whole fucking OP
Hypothetically, a brace would convert a pistol grip firearm into an AOW, as you would have redesigned it to be fired with one hand.
Side saddle
Mine. The mods are basic: A ProMag enhanced safety, a grip wrap, some hockey tape to cover the screws on the forend, and a velcro shotgun card.
Only thing im missing on mine is a light
>red dot sight
>on a gun you cant shoulder and can otherwise barely aim
found the drooling mouth-breather
in the future, suggest something actually useful for the context provided, such as a laser so you can see where the thing is pointing while your'e shooting it from the hip
you're welcome.
>2018
>milk crates
Where'd you get that, the Container Store?
>memewave
>bed gunrack
I don't know you, but I know I hate you.
The dots there so you dont have to shoulder. Just bring the jun up to ete level, place dot on target, pull trigger.
Im confused as to why you cant envision that
>jun up to ete
Trips wasted on an illiterate phoneposter
have fun punching yourself in the face.
Confirmed never shot one. You fags give memewaves some mythical level recoil, just lol.
You dont hold it close to your face dumbass, just bring it to eye level
I've shot a pistol grip 870 with sights on the barrel. we'll call that close enough
you're holding it with 2 hands, which puts it 4-6 inches from your face. at some point you are going to be more focused on aiming, forget, and punch yourself in the face.
>unable to manage recoil in 4-6 inches
Absolute state of armlets
>Where'd you get that, the Container Store?
No, picked them up off the sides of highways, washed them in the dishwasher, and used them as storage. Better than them going to the landfill.
>I don't know you, but I know I hate you.
In my defense, I'm currently in upstate NY for a few months and the Shockwave is the most compact home defense weapon I can legally have here without a pistol permit. And with my current living arrangements, compact and discreet are absolute necessities.
needs Xmas lights wrapped around it
not what I said.
I said people get caught up in aiming and forget they have a 12ga with no stock 4" from their face.
it's a stupid weapon. no military or leo use pistolgrip shotties for anything other than blowing door locks
No.
look up shockwave recoil straps. can probably make one yourself ezpz
It makes more sense to do it that way, than to get an already heavy gun and weigh it down even more with attachments.
You could do the same thing with the bead sight. You could even do it faster because there's no heavy dot sight slowing you down.
That looked like a drum magazine from the thumbnail. I'm disappointed.
dude... memes aside don't buy that turd... i don't want to sound paranoid but right now isn't the time to be spending money on combat ineffective arms.... there are people talking about civil war ffs
You do realize that it's possible to own more than one gun, right?
I don't have much money to work with and I need a shotgun I can take on the go. Once the civil war happens and you're being a viet cong having weapons you can reasonably conceal would be great
go shill somewhere else. disposable income doesn't justify buying pointless guns
>greentexting
>on Jow Forums
>ever
LMAOing @your whole life
If you cant manage the recoil of a 12ga in 4 inches, hit the gym
Also who the fuck cares if its not used by mil/leo thats 1000% irrelevant for civilian use
But freedom does, what are you? A feeedom-hating commie
>go shill somewhere else. disposable income doesn't justify buying pointless guns
Spotted the poor.
you can keep misrepresenting my argument all you want. it doesn't make you right
you're free to buy all the stupid shit you want. it's still stupid.
wasting money on cheap pointless garbage is what poor people do. I'm advocating the opposite.
How is that misrepresenting? Youre claiming people will be punching themselves in the face if the bring the gun up to eye level. Im calling you a bitch if you cant prevent that
You'd tell him to commit a felony but decided not to because of the thread name?
Imma let you shoot your hand off but I'm good.
Get a V3 tac 13 instead.
I'm calling you a retard because you don't realise that you can't put a 12g shotgun in front of your face, fire it, and stop it from hitting your face without a shoulder stock to brace your body against.
And im calling you a noodle-armed pussy if you cant stop it from hitting yourself in 4 inches
>Compact semi-concealable shotguns are pointless
Any civil war is likely to be asymmetrical warfare and your AR is actually pretty ineffective.
Absolutely not, it's just a "firearm" like the normal memewave is. arguably a pump shotgun couldn't even be "redesigned" to be fired with one hand from a legal standpoint as operating the pump requires the use of another hand.
Crabhand comes from putting a chinkshit VFG into a KSG. Show me literally any example of anybody with a non-NFA firearm, DD, AOW, or SBS crabhanding themselves. I regularly run 3" magnum 00buck and 3" slugs through the gun pictured in and have never so much as had my hand slip.
That's.... a good point actually.
You're alright, user.
>TRS25 on a 12ga
Oof. Mine couldn't even handle being mounted on an AR without breaking the epoxy holding the emitter in place.
Whatever you say soiiiboiii.
Its only there for maximum memery
Its a pos that only holds zero on my .22lr going to swap it when i go for an rmr or something
Actually i think i saw a heatahield with ghost ring mounts, ill have to see if itll fit, ten use that
No one can do it. Recoil is like someone with a sledgehammer hitting the muzzle. You can't stop it dead.
here
Those 3" magnum shells and slugs I'm talking about are fired at eye level. It's completely fine if you "stretch" the gun.
They're seriously not that bad.
>b-b-but I shot a pistol grip shotgun once and that sucked
Yeah and the fact that a birdshead grip has a ~60° difference in grip angle means the recoil impulse is pretty dramatically different.
It's not really shorter
The barrel sure is.
>barrel offset 1.5-2" behind the cruiser to make them seem more similar
>still shorter in the rear by 1-2"
Sure looks shorter. Also you can put as ((brace)) on the shockwave and be way shorter than a stocked cruiser.
>to make them seem more similar
They're both centered
memewave's listed as 26.37
6 shot cruiser is listed as 28.125
8 shot cruiser 30.25
Ever since that video, I have seen a sudden increase of people coming into the shop I work at asking about them.
Most don't like them after they handle it.
Shockwave compared to 6 shot cruiser:
Barrel: 4.125" shorter
Grip: 2.37" longer
>tfw no MCS
Hurts just a little bit
If you wan't to compare OAL then you should have the end of the barrels even or the beginning of the grip. Centering them produces two small disparities at either end instead of just one disparity at a single end obfuscating the difference. Classic misleading photography technique.
OAL differences
>shortest cruiser: 1.75"
>8 shot cruiser: 3.88"
>9 shot cruiser: 6.13"
>stocked 18.5" cruiser vs braced shockwave: 4.5" assuming brace length=stock length
If you wan't the absolute shortest package then the memewave still wins by nearly 2" while being MUCH more controllable and comfortable than the cruiser. If you want to "brace" a shockwave then it's going to be atleast 4.5" shorter all other things being fair compared to stocked cruiser. Equivalent to the difference between a 16" AR and an 11.5 one. AKA a world of difference in terms of actual use inside confined spaces.
>wan't
wannot
>misleading
If you're blind maybe. Its a rough estimate showing that they're about the same length obviously the meme being a hair shorter.
Looks gay but neat.
M A T T R E S S
Why get both? Just put the pistol grip on the meme wave to make it even shorter.
Yea, and manipulating perspective is only misleading if you're stupid. Both of those comparisons were clearly framed to minimize the apparent difference in OAL compared to a fair example where either the muzzles were lined up or the rear of the grip was.
>a hair shorter.
i wouldn't call 2-6" a "hair" when talking about shotguns/rifles. Particularly a 4.5" difference with comparable shoulderable variants is quite meaningful.
Pistol brace without a doubt. The moment I put one on my tac-14 it immediately went from meme gun to my go-to bump in the night gun. I feed it 3" magnums and slugs on the reg now. After that a tube extension, flashlight and rear sight.
Speaking of lights, any way to put a light on this without making the fore grip fuckhueg and bulky? Not into magpul aesthetics.
Also does anyone see a problem keeping the action racked back and a shell on the carrier like pic related for extended periods of time? I call it condition 1.5. Basically I want the extra shell in the pipe but carrying a shotgun in condition 1 creeps me out.
GGG front attachment rail for mounting a flashlight
Mossberg rail (don't buy the chink shit, it falls off) and whatever you want on the top
SBM4 Shockwave brace kit
Reverse the strap so the screws are outside your pump hand. In the winter this will cut you.
Shit, forgot get an OPSOL adapter too for some fun with the mini-shells. Installs in 2 seconds with just your hands and comes out just as quick. Haven't had a single malfunction with it in the shockwave.
ATF pls go
What exactly is that Jow Forums friends
Carl
Get a brace kit and one of those featureless AR grips to mimic the feel of a straight pull stock. Replace the forend if you don't like the meme strap. Standard 590 magpul forend won't fit, you need the gg&g modified version.
You end up with a (((firearm))) that's still more compact than an 18 or 20 inch
Why not use a pistol grip?
