I bought a cheap used anderson build and am regretting it. It technically works just fine and is actually pretty damn accurate, but the trigger is awful, the reset feels like shit, the safety is mushy, the bolt release feels like shit and the bcg is a piece of shit, the barrel is too heavy (it's an HBAR)

Should I sell it on armslist and build a completely new rifle or just swap out parts until I have the rifle I want? I'd probably swap out the lower completely, get a nickel boron BCG and an FN gov't profile barrel from PSA?

The problem with buying a completely new rifle is I really want to keep the A2 look. I want at least one A2 build in my collection. A2 uppers are pretty damn expensive for what they are, but if it turns out mine is out of spec (i have no reason to believe it is, but I'm not an expert) then I'll have wasted my money on everything.

if someone accidentally dry fired a 7075-T6 lower 1 time while separated from the upper (bolt catch inserted) but there was no visible damage, how concerned should they be? could it be weakened in a non-obvious way? the nightmare scenario is getting cucked by an AWB and then the lower cracks. asking for a friend
