Why doesent the hi point get alot of love?

I'm actually being serious with this one how come the hi point 955 doesent get alot of love in my opinion i think its a farely good carbine like yeah i know it was used in columbine but thats only the main reason why its so popular which kinda sucks

Also whats up with the porn ads lol

Because it's a piece of fuckin shit.

TFB did a great review on it. You should check it out. You actually couldn’t be more wrong.

It's a fugly piece of shit. The only thing it does well is function. Most of the time.

Because the sub2000 exists

The sub2000 is a fairly good gun aswell also the zero hour columbine documentary got the guns worng but i mean even if it is fugly it is well functional

I'd sooner trust a knife with a scope than I would a fucking Hi Point.

and get fixed on the rare occasion it doesn't function.

Max mag at 15? Literally the only real ding against it. They release one that can take double stacks and they'll rule the PCC world.

No user this is the best weapon

>It's a of shit.
>The only thing it does well is function

...huh?

For the same or less weight, you could have a rifle with a lot more power.

Subpar materials, most of us prefer not to need to use a warranty. Plus retarded single stag mags

>For the same or less weight, you could have a rifle with a lot more power.

Look at this user! He just invalidated the entire existence of the pistol caliber carbine!

I can't believe I was there!

surely a 10/22 with 25 round mag is a better PCC

If you can get free replacement HiPoints, what's stopping people from just selling them and making profit

A have a newer model 995 and it works fine considering I paid less than 250 for it. Get a couple of those 20 round Redball mags and maybe a cheap red dot and you got a fun setup.

The warranty is for the gun, you didn't buy a Hi-Point License or something. If you don't have the gun you don't get another Hi-Point. I'm sure if it fell apart or something and you sent them pictures they'd probably just give you one, though.

English please?

I honestly don't know, OP.

I own a couple Hi Points (two C9's and a 995) and I love them. You might want to spend a couple hours polishing the feed ramps with some steel wool, and give it the appropriate break in period of a couple hundred rounds, but I've never had issues with either of them.

They're cheap, they're ugly, they're heavy, and they don't have a whole lot of capacity considering the size and weight. But if you want a gun you can leave in a tackle box, in a barn, in a truck, or in a ziplock bag in your toilet's upper deck, then you get yourself a Hi Point. Warranty is unbeatable. I've also been wanting to buy the original stock for my 995 for maximum edginess.

I live in pic related. I've left one of the C9's in a tool box in the back of my truck for months on end without cleaning it. Even with some residual rust, the gun goes bang every time i've pulled it out of there.

Are you saying you don't understand the post being quoted or the post you are quoting?

>it's a of shit
Flawless, but yes, how can something be a piece of shit but still function? Very easily, happens all the time. The carbine feels like a cheap mcdonalds toy and smells like one too. While it functions this is not the only metric that stops something from being a piece of shit. Spotty finish, flash, weird tooling marks on the plastic, marred up screws, the list goes on.

and yet millions of people eat mcdonalds every day, in fact too many of them, too often.

It's a piece of shit, but I don't even think Hi-Point themselves would argue that, they'd probably be like "yeah, but it works, soooo....?" That's the whole point of Hi-Point as a brand, it's literally the cheapest new gun you can buy that's actually worth buying

So you're arguing for the point I already made? Cool?

"piece of shit" is a the descriptor for how something functions. Or does not. If it does its job and does it well, it is not a piece of shit.

No.

Yes.

When people use phrases like "ugly piece of shit" they are often getting carried away like saying something is a "goddamn mother fucker" even though a hammer could have never, logically, fucked its mother.

Cool story, go be wrong anywhere else.

Why? I can be correct right here.

>she was the ugliest bitch you ever saw, but goddamn you should have seen how good she look.

It also refers to something of low quality, not just if it functions or not. Again, go be wrong elsewhere.

>It also refers to something of low quality

see
>The only thing it does well is function

Function is a metric of quality and not its entirety. Congrats you're wrong.

>Function is a metric of quality and not its entirety

If you seriously consider looks to be an equal measure in quality as function, you may be a woman.

>go be wrong anywhere else
>Again, go be wrong elsewhere
>Congrats you're wrong.

Flawless string of arguments, bro.

Here, lets use an analogy so you might be able to understand better. Say a chair. We have a $1,000 whatever on the left, steel body, reclining, nice upholstery, and cushion. On the right we have some pallets loosely nailed together, covered in visqueen with some packing peanuts for cushion. By your definition these two chairs are of the same quality because they both function as seats. No, looks are not a metric of functionality, I never said this. Fit, feel, form, and function are all metrics of quality.
>fugly piece of shit
Would imply that fit, feel, and form are not up to snuff meaning its lacking in 75% of its quality metrics would it not?

It might have something to do with them being mostly made out of plastic and well...literally exploding and killing the shooter in the past. You can do much better if you actually frequent independent shops and have some patience.

I honestly don't understand why even a woman would want a pink gun. It's such an obnoxious color. Can't you just get a fucking purple one?

>Fit, feel, form, and function are all metrics of quality

When talking talking about tampons. With guns reliability and FUNCTION, is what we refer to when we refer to quality.

As with most anything, really.

To your chair analogy, if you saw a wooden crate and that fancy chair you got all hard writing about and asked me which one to use and I'd say "the crate is solid, but the sissy chair is a piece of shit because it will fall apart" which one would you consider to be of the best quality for your sitting needs?

Ah, so you're just a contrarian, cool. Great talk bud.

Answer the question bud, which would be a better quality chair?

Yeah, let me just go find the nearest furniture outlet that sells $1,000 chairs for display only that fall apart at the first human touch. Great attempt moron.

Oh and a pink gun says "I want to blow your fucking brains out but I also want to support breast cancer awareness." Pink guns should be stopped.

>Great attempt moron

Says the guy who can't understand a simple hypothetical. Or are you simply wrong and have nowhere to go?

Here we go, we'll pick a more relevant analogy seeing as how you couldn't grasp the previous one. Is a current production Remington 870 of the same quality as, say, a mid 1990s Remington 870?

You guys both need to calm your tits and rant about bad guns.

>Is a current production Remington 870 of the same quality as, say, a mid 1990s Remington 870?

Do they both shoot at the same level of quality?

Not until this dipshit understands how a gun looks is every bit as important as how well it shoots.

Great job idiot, your parents must be so proud.

Is this what you do to feel like you won with the last word?

Idiot.

Nope, there's just no point in forlorn hopes. Make it worth my while and I might entertain you, until then go in peace user.

Oh fuck you now you're dragging me into it. If the gun isn't cycling I don't give a fuck if it looks like the hammer of Odin itself. Function first, looks second. I like a sexy gun as much as the next guy but fuck you if all I can do with it is look at it.

fuck no.

>Nope, there's just no point in forlorn hopes

I hate you but I don't want you to give up. Someday Chad will notice you.

no dipwad. He means that it does its goddamn job. Unlike you.

English please?

Can you quote where I said that it doesn't do its job?

You should consider a vocation other than trolling.

>Can you quote where I said that it doesn't do its job?

Probably this whole thread where you argued for it being a piece of shit.

Moron.

So you have nothing I take it?

It does tho

Cool it with that spacing there friendo, piece of shit does not imply that it does not function. You and I have been through this multiple times already.

>piece of shit does not imply that it does not function

It literally does in every part of the world except your basement.

Projecting much mr reddit spacer?

>ads

Ads? People still see ads? why the fuck wouldn't you use an adblocker? shit man, I've been using them for at least 10 years. I legit forgot that youtube had ads until Ian and the other channels started bitching about ad revenue and started begging for donations.

>he thinks the spacing argument still works.

you want a break down?

>popular opinion masquerading as unpopular
>few comments, nah it's a good gun
> NO it's shit all it does is function
>well yes, that's why it's not shit
>Lets compare expensive things that work to inexpensive things that work
>ok, but it's a bargain gun that works. That's why it's awesome. You're an idiot.
> WHEN DID I SAY IT DIDN'T WORK

Obvious troll is obvious. Fuck off.

It does make you look foolish, yes.

literally a troll.

Hi-Point is just fine if you want a an ugly, affordable, reliable weapon with a kickass warrantly.

Wew laddeh, I've never seen someone more wrong in my entire life, props.

You'd think they'd just make a quality product instead of fucking with you over it. Proof they say, is in action rather than word.

There's no such thing as tooling marks on plastic, retard-baby.

Wow lots of autism in this thread...

Local pawn shop has an old beater old-school stock 9mm carbine for 190OTD should I do it?

Attached: Hp995carbine22.jpg (479x145, 30K)

After transfer? Go for it.

>trolling
What's the weather like in 2007?

wave $175 cash money under his nose and see if he bites. walk out the door if he doesn't.
come back an hour later, again $175 for it. he'll probably bite at some point. if not, go for $190.
but you gotta at least try to jew him down. he won't respect you if you don't.

>1900TD
wat

190 Out The Door

Meaning tax/transfer/whatever comes to 190 even

Gun in question

Attached: 9005585_04__1311_hi_point_995_9mm_640.jpg (640x203, 18K)

Oh, disregard. Never heard of that. Snap it up, that's a good deal for a fun gun.

Shit. If i knew HiPoints cause this much butthurt I would have bought 2 of them.

Remember, just don't call it ugly and you're set.

They're universally considered bad guns. Made mostly out of cheap plastic and they shake like a Saudi wife to be. Considered to be bought by people too poor and too stupid to get something else.

Mmmmm bet you would be upset at my Pic related.

Attached: PicsArt_10-15-01.34.58.png (950x1267, 1.45M)

Single stack mags are lame.

the troll just keeps fishing.

I'm going to a fun show tomorrow and might pick one up. I don't know, have always been tempted by them even though I have the money for better.

Are their 10mm carbines available or are they hard to get still?

Where fun show?

Mankato, Minnesota.

Bummer. Too long of a drive from Virginia. Oh well, have fun. Take pics and make a thread.

They're out there. $323 on buds.

Attached: hickok soda.jpg (500x559, 63K)

Eh, probably won't but thanks. It's actually not a bad show. Against all gunshow stereotypes have gotten nothing but good deals there. And has an okay selection of milsurp.

>why doesn't this hideous piece of shit that looks like it was made out of melted toothbrushes in a brazilian prison get more love?

Attached: 1489867371263.png (484x489, 264K)

Too lazy to duck it, but what's 10mm run?

Prices vary
www.ammoseek.com

Holy shit, after buying some 8mm Lebel that's laughable.

because the gen 1 9mm carbine was a jam-o-matic that forever soiled its name

>Put wood furniture on it, and it's a dead ringer for the gun from Planet of the Apes
Pottery

Attached: BA2_06.jpg (2598x744, 273K)

lol thank you

get over it. a guns either a tool or a work of art, and usually both.

the Hi-Point makes no claims to be art. You put it in your hand, load ammo into mag, put mag in, safety off, charged, and boom. rooty tooty point and shooty every time. its cheap. it works. its simple. It has a life time warrenty.

Even anderson guns do not have that.
