I know people who shoot stuff since they were kids too, but it was never a game. I knew 8 year kids who used guns but had learned proper gun safety first, one of those laws is that guns are not toys. Going into the woods to lel pretend youre a survivor is really stupid and is bound to end up bad.

Many non nigger kids end up shooting their school buddies in accidents. There are some basic stuff that is not too hard, literally even a kid could comprehend, but you have to really ingrain it. First: the gun is not a toy. Second: never point a gun at someone, even if not loaded. Third: always pretend the gun is loaded. Fourth: when not shooting always stand behind the line of fire. Fifth: before shooting doublecheck theres no one after the line of fire. Sixth: the gun is not a toy do not use it for pretend, for fun, do not use it for anything other than target practice or hunting.

The moment you let kids use guns without understanding these basics then they start being statistically very likely to either die or kill someone in an accident

Yes many would. But the sheer number of militias (official or unofficial) in the US mean that there will be effective forces within a relatively short amount of time. Many Militias are run and operated by off duty National Guard, prior military, or ex-PMC, but the largest portion are just the average joe with a AK or AR and enough training to shoot accurately under mild amounts of stress. Id be more worried about a militia here in the USA compared to one in Africa, and if you gave them a small amount of time they might be on par with active terror-cells in the middle east or south america without foreign aid simply due to the culture that comes with joining a militia and being around military minded individuals.

If their enemy was the "US Army" (i'll assume you mean all military branches) and it was straight up militia vs service men I'm not sure. Rules of Engagement come into play for official military forces and fighting an insurgency is never easy. Especially when its on your home turf. Then comes loyalties and all kinds of psychological shit and don't forget logistics. Many members of Militias have family in the service and that will have an effect on both sides.
In a straight up slug fest with all that taken out my money is easily on the military.
