A bigger boat.

The stainless Mini 14 is the classic boat rifle

shockwave with slugs seems plenty viable. what da prablem iz?

Something that can blow a big enough hole in the boat to sink it.

Says who?

I think you're going to need a bigger boat

A fucking flare gun will save your life on a boat more reliably than anything else

Something that can put a high volume of fire out at a long range, maybe AR15. Penetration is important too, not to sink the boat but to eliminate personnel on the boat.

Reality.

Minis are very common in various US maritime industries, particularly the stainless models. They're more common than those nickle coated "marine" shotguns.

A 12 gauge shotgun can fire 12 gauge marine flares.

>inb4 no it can’t

I’ve literally done this multiple times, as long as there’s no choke on the shotgun the flare will fly straight on out.

The fuck are you defending your boat from?

Pirate niggers

None. Last time I brought my guns on a boat, I lost them all in a terrible accident.

>stainless
>but not synthetic furniture
Close.
Shame they don't make the 581 series with bayonet lugs, or it would be a perfect boat rifle.

>Has anyone had any success diving for their lost guns?

mfw I was 15 and night fishing off the pier at Crissy Field one summer night in SFO.

>a 30 something guy walks to the end of the pier and starts throwing armfuls of rifles and shotguns.
>does this 5-6 times, 6-8 rifles per trip, then starts throwing pistols
>someone says "wtf user"
>he says they are evil guns from his dead father in laws collection
>one old guy is fishing and watching, gets in his car and drives away
>hour later PGE truck pulls up and a diver suits up and hits the water
>hauls all the guns up and puts in his truck
>old man guards it between dives
>by dawn they are gone

You know, now that I think about it, boats would be the best place to use a lanyard loop on a pistol.

Should have asked for one.

>not choking your shotgun
I bet you go to church every Sunday too

>Not getting a shotgun with removable choke tubes

>sawed off mosin
