I have a camelbak assault pack that I got in like 2005 that’s still going strong. I’ve used for everything from camping/ going to the range to traveling/ going to work. The only signs of wear on the back are that some of the color on the straps has started to fade in the last couple of years and some burn marks from me using the bag to prop up my rifle a couple times while shooting.

I’ve had the Arcteryx Khard 30l since 2012 and upgraded to the 45l version in 2016. It costs more than the average person is willing to put on a single backpack, but the dexterity and performance of it makes me believe I will pass it to my son one day.
