I have the steam version and unless I'm crazy the markings were always sanitized. I didn't realize any version had the authentic markings.

the standard game never had them. only modded versions did as i said here but chimps here will believe anything as Long as it suits their narrative

IL-2 never had the correct markings. Probably so they didn't have to create 1 extra version for places where the swastika is illegal (it's not really a nazi swastika in the case of Finland i know).

This game keep historical accuracy.
