I’m a poor blue collar type who’s going to be receiving $200,000-$500,000 dollars over the next couple years from an inheritance. 95% of it is going to be going into stocks and an investment account.
The other smidge is going into a machine gun. Leaning towards an M11/9 or a registered M16 lower.
Registered M16 lower. If you want sub gun fun it can be made into sub gun fun. If you want a full giggle M4gery you can make it into a full giggle M4gery. It can be a space gun with the right furniture. It can be so many different things in so many different calibers. It doesn't make sense to buy anything else if it's going to be your only full auto.
That’s over budget and not something I could afford to feed
Cameron Diaz
Go for a Zenith Mp5 Clone or an Mp5 then. Less than antique, 9mm is cheap. Relatively modular.
Ayden Brown
We’re shopping for a machine gun here, a registered seat pack would be neat but is also getting close to the upper limit on what I’m trying to spend
Nathaniel Sanchez
I'd go for the m4 lower then, if you're feeling iffy about the Mp5. That's probably the most affordable giggle switch out there, since there's a lot of em floating around and being made still. And 5.56 isn't too horrible on price, for a rifle cartridge.
James Gonzalez
Bruh an M16 is about 30k, a sear pack is around 35k, a mac is around 10k.
For shits and gigs let’s say we don’t want to go over 30
Aaron Butler
Still taking suggestions
Nathan Campbell
>95 percent of it into stocks
literal retard detected.
how cany ou inherit money but be so illeterate.
put 30 percent into socks/indexes. maybe 100,000k into a vangaurd fund.
take 50K in cash,
put the rest in maybe 2 different banks or better yet buy an appartment building.
fucking poorfags gonna stay poor.
Dominic Lee
Drop 50k into bitcoin at the current bottom (around 6k) and then put 10k into ETH and throw the rest into a mutual fund
Jayden Martinez
Some is going to a broker, some is going into an IRA or something.
Believe it or not I am planning to sit down with a financial advisor, I’m smart enough to be cognizant of the fact that I don’t know what the fuck to do with money because I’ve never had it
Angel Stewart
Is it early/mid 2017 again?
Jeremiah Howard
>buy an appartment Exactly how much does an apartment cost in your head? Land seems like it'd be limited so probably not within budget. Honestly if you put 95% of your money into stock with long history and more room to grow, J&J, Ford, Microsoft, Amazon, Verizon etc... I'm talking about 50 different blue chip stocks that you did your due dillegence on and focused on div stocks - using divs to invest in more I'm sure you could out do Vanguard funds no problem. If you have the time and will to read and learn and the self reflection to understand when you're investing and when you're gambling.
> tldr this guy is a Faggot. Know what you're getting into, reinvest your divs for true compounding, diversify and never stop learning
Adrian Richardson
Buy up all the cheap milsurp and sell it to a police buyback.
Open gun store with range and rent out class 3s. When you calculate how much money you make on ammo alone you'll be bawling.
Lucas Wood
So a lot of milsurp rifles weren't going for more than the 200-250 buybacks that'll destroy it. Buy enough of them cherry pick out a few decent ones. Have the rest destroyed and get some money back in the process. Then the ones left over will be more valuable.
Joseph Perez
I worked at and helped manage a fairly busy, very well known gunshop for ~6 years; did everything from gunsmithing to merchandising to ATF compliance to sales. Not super sure I want to get on that ride again. It's a pretty low margin, high stress business.
If you ever bought a gun in the 209 you probably know me desu.
I'm just a simple man who wants to spitball out what autogat to get right now.
Brayden Rivera
Get a M16 lower so you cna have lots of uppers from .22 to .50 beo and everything in between. Also get a Beretta tomcat in 25
Samuel Allen
Similar situation here, user. I recently inherited just under $400,000 (after taxes, some legal bills in getting everything straightened out, and paying off some old debts. Like you, I’m going to be boringly responsible with most of it. But also like you, I went shopping and got:
A Glock 43 A Makarov A Ruger Mk. IV Lite An LCP II A Shockwave A PC Carbine Two Holosun 503c and one 510c red dots The parts for a really sweet AR pistol build that turned out to be very close to the one Mrgunsngear just did: youtu.be/XxBsNVfbmew And four spare AR lowers just in case.
All told it’s probably about $5000 worth of stuff. But like I said, I’ll be boringly responsible with the rest of the money.
Hunter Williams
Here's the thing... there are many ways to invest your cash to productive use.
A financial advisor will tell you general solutions because that's what they know. These tend to be low risk low yield strategies that conform to market benchmarks over time, like sticking some cash in a mutual fund. And you should absolutely do that with some of your money primarily because it will provide a safety net you don't need to think about.
But there are other strategies to think about that may be tailored specifically to you. The key to making money is simply to identify trends before they happen. What markets/products/areas/things do you know a shitton about? Guns? Videogames? Powertools? Construction? These are all opportunities to bet on what you know will happen because of your specialized knowledge before some fag in NY or Tokyo figures it out.
You have enough that you never expected to get that you can afford some of these higher risk angles. Find a fund that lines up with your thinking or get an advisor and trade yourself.
You can also invest in local businesses/assets/real estate where you see opportunities in your own town. There is no rule that you need to trade on the securities/futures market to make money.
Mason Gutierrez
No but only a fool assumes bitcoin will stay at 6k forever and it has historically only gone up
Jacob Campbell
>What markets/products/areas/things do you know a shitton about? Guns?
Literally only guns and war materiel/defense article famalam, but no where near well enough to want to play around in a market that volatile.
Low risk, low yield is fine DESU. If I can get a cool gun out of it and pretend like I'm actually going to retire sometime even though I know I won't I'm happy.
Get a registered HK trigger pack. You can throw that thing into so many guns with minor modifications.
Alexander White
I've owned an MP5, a Vector HK93 buid, and a PTR.
They're cool and all, but they never really gave me the warm fuzzies enough to want to spend 35k to have one in full auto; especially when you consider the MG is an extra special one time expenditure and how much HK host guns cost and how expensive parts and mags and sundry are for most of them.
My main focus as a collector is on foreign, cold war era junk though
William Diaz
Its really not as hard as you think. For instance, you can keep an eye on gun control laws that have grandfather clauses because you know exactly what will happen to prices afterward. When you sell your stuff at a small premium, you make a profit. This doesn't make sense for most of us because we don't have a spare 75k laying around so the effort of turning around a few rifles isn't worth the cost. A larger trader also isn't probably put the effort into tracking down used guns. But you, a smalltime guy make 10% on 75k worth of rifles over a few months and that's an OK payday for you for very little effort. Likewise, is all academic for your lifestyle, so you end up rolling snakeyes and eat a 10% loss its not going to break you since you're properly diversified.
You can also watch government military contracts for small arms, ammunition, etc.
Like other user said just get educated on how to move your capital around efficiently and you'll start to see opportunities everywhere
Kayden Murphy
Not looking to get into it for a living, honestly.
As dumb as it is, whether it's craft, service, or labor I get more fulfillment from physically tangible work even if it will never get me rich.
Which means if I go down that road, and while I'm not a genius I do pick up shit real quick when I get a bug up my ass, I'd end up actually trying to broker arms deals and end up in prison. So let's not go that way.
Just help me pick an autogat guys; M11/9, Registered lower, or some other dumb shit from the cold war
Joshua Peterson
MAC is uncomfortable and has way too high a rate of fire. Sten is also uncomfortable and not the reliable. Everyone speaks highly of sterlings but idk why. H&K anything is way too expensive for what it is. Registered lower is by far the most versatile but do you actually want that many combinations?
Just get a Swedish K/ S&W 76 and be happy with your aesthetically pleasing, well designed, well constructed, cheap to shoot 9mm pop gun. Or get a Norrell 10/22 for the lulz.
Jordan Bennett
I’ve shot macs and actually like them a lot, dumb I know.
The registered lower would probably get built into an XM16E1 and stay that way.
K gun would just be rad
Owen Evans
Or I’d really like an AK but they’ve just been retarded for a while
Noah Carter
>low risk low yield >acceptable It's like you want you and your family to remain peasants for all eternity Get some actual income generating assets or you will regret life Retirement is no longer a guarantee for the general population
Austin Bell
Brother the way I live $100,000 is enough to live on for 8 years
Andrew Reyes
Expenses change, you probably don't have kids at the moment, let me tell you that they're a lot more expensive than you think Honestly, don't play the rat race, start getting assets that make you money It beats the hell out of any job, and if you aren't a mouthbreather, getting your first million will be simple and straightforward
Juan Parker
I enjoy the rat race though
Also a weird loner as far as socialising goes, I only voluntarily interact with other people in a professional capacity.
Ain't meeting no lady, ain't having no kids; I'm a happy hermit
Jordan Phillips
M16 is absolutely the best way to spend that money. Are you forgetting about the fifty or so calibers the AR is compatible with? You could make a FA .50 Beo, 5.7x28, .300 BLK, and even 6.8 CT when it becomes available to the civilian market. That's right. You could be the first private citizen in the world to own a full-auto 6.8 CT. You could use .224 Valk and fire an accurate stream of lead at something a mile away. You could even throw on a belt-fed upper and turn it into an LMG. If you're only going to get one, you should maximize the variety.
>gold Asteroid mining in the next few years is going to drop platinum group metal prices through the floor Better to just go real estate, people always need a place to live, less so shiny rocks
Asher Scott
400k in ETFs and mutual funds is 4 million in 20 years if the market follows the same long term patterns it has had since its inception. That means probably something like 3 million in 2038 dollars. Collecting 3 percent divs is simple and easy so that's like 90k a year plus whatever he puts aside in the meantime. Slow and easy doesn't make him a peasant and taking econ courses at community college doesn't make you Gordon Gekko.
Mason Ortiz
What gun is that op?
Ian Brooks
Full auto is fun for the first few range trips. It costs a shit ton to feed, and gets you a lot of attention from every mouth breathing fudd who scoffs at the idea of anyone needing that much firepower to every mouth breathing tactard who starts every sentence with "That's nothing, I....". And they all want to shoot it, with your ammo btw. And you do not want anyone shooting their "I check every 7th round for QC" handloads through your gun either.
But if you're going to go full meme do an M16 lower, you can swap out uppers to have fun in other calibers/barrel lengths.
Robert Jones
You can literally read the brand and model number on the side of the gun
Nicholas Hall
No I can't.
Juan Morales
full auto AK
Dylan Allen
fuck you then
William White
>Mac >high rate of fire
buy a Lage slow-fire upper.
Carter Hill
Get an uzi with a fun switch
Christopher Gomez
I'd ignore stocks and push for private land but that's just me.
Sebastian Powell
yeah id suggest buying property, my parents started with one, now theyve got more than 20 because you can use your other properties as collertaral to buy another one, plus its more stable than stocks and I feel a mini gfc coming up in the next 10 years
Ryan Watson
nigga its a berreta logo and it says model 950 bs 25cal
Thomas Williams
My first Full-Auto was a mp5, it was the smoothest thing ive ever shot.
Xavier Perez
M16 lower will do just fine.
Tyler Thomas
Decided to fuck it and realize a boy hood dream, did some horse trading, sold some stuff, and made a bunch of phone calls.
Put a down on an off brand M60 build that recently came back from Desert Ord with an A-OK.
If you'd ever shot a Thompson you'd understand why not a Thompson Also this, getting a pig
Jace Morgan
are they really unreliable? well fuck there goes my dream Tell us how the pig shoots user, I definitely want one
Kevin Rogers
You're a retarded boomer and a cuck. You get the opportunity to finance a type 07/SOT FFL operation and have limitless international arms deal/government contract/police procurement potential and the ability to fondle countless modern machine guns and you're going to just """"invest"""" in a Roth IRA and some blue chip stocks for a 6-8% return over the next two decades.
You should really be ashamed of yourself, one of your ancestors came to this country from a foreign land and helped expel it of savages and contribute to the development and refinement of the history's most prosperous and technologically advanced global empires and you're too chickenshit to take a little risk with a chunk of cash that literally got dropped in your lap.
Eli Hughes
No, but they feel like a 20lb 2x4 >expel it of Savages Grandpa came through the island in 1912 tho
We had a drygoods store in Duluth; ain't been here all that long
Levi Evans
nothings under 100$ nowadays faggot.
What you should do is hold a fake gun buy back and then keep having them until you get a Uzi or mac 10 given to you for 100 bucks. You cant resell the bulk of the guns without a fll because the ATF and IRS will be on your ass like a pack of niggers. But you can sell a couple of the most expensive ones say some retarded gives you a 2,000$ AR build or a scar or a Luger you can resell it keep the rest and have the funds to have another fake buy back. don't tell people that its fake though if you where me just don't say anything that you don't plan on following through with or else (((they)))) will shut it down.
Liam Kelly
ma deuce
Gavin Long
There's a Colt AR15 transferable machine gun lower for $23k BIN on GunBroker right now. Build whatever you want off of it. And the value will never go down unless they repeal the Hughes amendment.
