Individuals of the movement join or create clubs open for others of the public. In such origination’s members influence common option, network and recruit others within and into movement, and gain fellowship all within the club. As well as these the goal of clubs is to train; an auto club for teaching of maintenance, a hiking club for survival and leadership skills, a running club for fitness and know the local area, a broad game club for strategic thinking, history club for knowledge and propaganda, etc. The possibilities are truly endless for what for the focuses of clubs. What this makes is a successful bottom up movement is that capitalizes full of the power it has locally creating infrastructure in the local area to its greatest extent. In otherer words, influence is directly expressed in practical infrastructure in an area. Such clubs when brought to their fullest extent will be essentially a state within a state.

I think it's important to talk about communications as well. Comms seem to go overlooked on this board.
In my opinion regular off the shelf FRS walkie talkies will be invaluable after SHTF. While they don't have very long range they do have enough to keep in touch with people in your neighborhood. Unlike HAM radios Almost everyone has an FRS radio. People buy them and give them to their kids for christmas every year. That means in SHTF everyone should have at least one VS HAM where not many people have them. That is not to say that HAMS are useless. They will come in handy as well. FRS for local comms and HAM for relaying info over longer distances.
Another thing to consider is smartphone apps. If you own an Android phone there are a few apps that have mesh functionality that allows them to share information from device to device without an internet connection. While this is not an internet replacement by any means it still can serve a purpose. Theorhetically if enough people are running mesh apps nearby then a network could be created. Android allows for downloading and sharing APK files so if you where to download all the apps you wanted before the internet goes down you could use and share those apps with others.
