Do not do a stalker challenge in FL without being in an open area. Let me be really clear about something, OP. Our Flora and Fauna will absolutely kill you if you give it a chance. This isn't some easy mode Colorado or Tennessee geography. FL has the most diverse ecosystems in this country. Getting bed down in the woods without someone with you just to fucking go on watch for predators, snakes, or scavengers is going in with a death wish. Going into the woods at night is unsafe alone no matter where you're at. In FL going into the woods at night is dangerous. If you were in North Florida, i'd give you my blessings. But unless you plan on camping in an abandoned building for the night, do not bother with a Florida Stalker Challenge.

I don't know what is talking about, I live in north Florida and the only way that you'll be bothered a lot is if you leave an opened can of food around. Granted, I don't know what south Florida is like compared to north, but you'll have a weapon with you and a couple shots is enough to scare off most annoyances

Go to Palm Springs at night. Zion is an abandoned town in that county too. All the 55% unemployment towns on the west side that have had all the government facilities closed are creepy. There are abandoned hospitals there too.

Posted this in another thread, looking to see what you guys think of my stupid idea. I've been thinking about this for a while, and throwing around ideas with a fellow Jow Forumsommando who isn't on board with this idea, and I realize it's fucking stupid, but the heart wants what it wants.
I want to do a STALKER challenge in Detroit.
Not a particularly inhabited part of Detroit, but in one of those shithole parts where none of the houses are lived in. I wanna just operate in under cover of night, or quickly go in during the day when it is safer, and park my car somewhere far away. Then spend the day just hangin out inside the house, remaining as stealth as possible. During the night, I wanna explore nearby abandoned houses, and attempt to not get seen by the upstanding native population. Bonus points if I do this with other Jow Forumsommandos, setting up a base with a bunch of other autistic idiots would be grand. If I get shot at, I have AK, and MI has CCW reciprocity and is Open Carry friendly.
Would rock a full STALKER loadout, probably my AK and makarov, polish gas mask, etc.
Been thinking about this since my first STALKER thread like 4 years ago, I realize how stupid/dangerous it would be, but god damn I still want to.

Typical size of wing span is 36ft, according to google measurements this is right around that span. The shadow seems a little big and the blur may indicate movement. Someone should try to find planes in the air on google and planes grounded to cross check the references. Don't want to send OP to a nothingburger or RIP another kommando.

Surgery is in a couple of weeks, heading out this weekend to CO crossing over NV,UT,AZ. Might stop in some fun stores for ermm...things.
But like I posted seems a good start as long as no one is down there already. Probably a good idea to conceal a cheap gun. Like I always plan, if you think you're going to get caught, bury the gun and ammo somewhere in the bushes and wait until you're in the clear. Long guns may not be advised unless you've been to the area a few times and confident you won't be seen.
