New AK47 from Century International Arms

What do you guys think of the new VSKA? i know american AKs have a bad rep but this seems to be a “learn from our mistakes” rifle with improved bolt and trunnions.
I’m definitely going to pick one up.

Chrome lining?

I haven't seen many complaints from century arms DESU

Stop shilling this piece of shit. It's not out yet and there's no reason to assume this won't be a time bomb like Century's other "US-built" AK's. I would definitely not buy one until someone reputable has put a substantial number of rounds through it.

i believe so

>calls it a piece of shit
>wait until someone reputable has tested it

I'm calling it now, failure in under 2000 rounds

we already bought up the good AKs, these new products are for the goyim

>AK47
No such thing.

I'll wait until Robski tests it. I'm willing to give it a chance if the price is right and it performs at least as decent as a PSAK

If it was, Century would be bragging about it. No mention of chrome-lining on their website.

Can't be worse than a WASR

Atlanticfirearms is testing it on youtube and its looking pretty good so far.

I will not be getting one anytime soon, maybe later if I hear good things about it.

What the fuck is wrong with a wasr, nigher

The reason to assume this AK won't be a piece of shit is it was (supposedly) a product of a program that sought to develop a way for SOCOM and 3-letter agencies to have a US-made AK (and other Eastern bloc small arms)to train with and supply ((allies)), instead of having to depend on foreign arms. If this is true the quality expected of the rifles will likely be higher.

That being said, I have my doubts and will definitely wait for actual reviews and testing.

More like silver lining.

How is this different than their other AKs?

Bump for this post.

Update: part 3

Never in american rifles comrade sorry.

This. Until Rob Ski tells me this thing is as good as a wasr, im not shooting it with my friends dick. Or however that goes.

I 2nd this.
If its wasr lvl I may consider, im currently building my own so its going to be a while before considering getting one.

Is Robski that much of an authority on AKs?
I saw his PSA gen 2 video and he seemed to think it was good enough, but I also see people shit on PSA AKs all the time.

Go shill for your stupid nigger rifle somewhere else like reddit

There's also the new Polish 'WBP FOX' being Imported by Arms of America

Considering Century has 20+ years history of putting out dogshit firearms, Its safe to just assume theyre not going to change much.

That said, I seriously hope they do get it right this time.

kind of amazing how one man is literally the definitive word on if an AK should be bought or not.

You would think these companies would engage in the design process more.

That's mostly because of the fact that you need to pay close attention to the materials because they do have a cheaper model with cast parts along with a forged and billet models. Also because they are almost never in stock and only sell blems most of the time.
