cops that post here, whats you ideal duty gun? even if your department wont let you have it
>shot pic related >fucking love it and Im better with it then my glock 22 >deparment only issues glock 22s and sig p226s for some old guys grandfathered in >inquire about using a px4 instead >Lt. says he'll look into it and doesnt ever bring it up again >sad
>slide mounted control it’s trash son. get a cz or a better job, you fucking conformist scum. you try to revoke my rights, I’ll show you my guns right at the bottom of the fucking ocean with concrete in your socks, capice?
Parker Adams
it sucks but they have to standardize for a number of reasons. why dont you like the glock 22? also, your department only does .40 or do they have 9mm options?

Reminder that police are not your friends and are not there to protect you.
Thomas Wood
I like the police. They have always been nice and helpful to me. Sure, I need to be able to protect myself but anarchy is not the way, user. I guess what I'm trying to say, the core issue I'm dancing around, is that you're a nigger.
Nathan Sanders
Once you convert it to decocker only it's fantastic. But you wouldn't know since you are a nogunz.

>i like shit so you must not have guns alright fag. keep sucking that italian schlong.
Kevin Bailey
>work for armed security company >get told we get a choice for fire arm >nice hoping I can get a cz,Beretta, or sign >the choice is glock 22 or 23 > tfw
I know that feel bro I don't like glocks and. 40 is gay
>Comes in ideal, Glock 19 size >Comes in ideal, Glock 19 capacity >Hammer fired >DA/SA >Polymer frame >Decocker (only, preferably) >Rotary meme so it's a snowflake
My only complaint is they came out with the CC version which ought to just be standard. Let's also not forget the slide mounted safety-decocker but I've owned a 92FS for years so I am used to it.
Oh and it looks kinda uggo which is a shame cause I think the 92 is the sexiest pistol ever designed and they go from that to this.
Love my compact carry. The Langdon line of px4s are superb (I think they’ve got a full size now). Decock only. Competition trigger. Low profile controls. Good sights. Cerakote slide. 3 mags, 3 mag release sizes, 3 backstrap sizes, talon tape.
I have about 2200 rounds through mine and a lot of holster time. Still looks brand spanking new.
Why don't departments let cops carry their personal guns? Anyone who chooses to do that is probably much more capable with their gun of choice and probably knows more about guns than most of the mouth breather who only shoot 50 rounds a year for qualifications.
Austin Cox
>uggo
Funny, i don’t think mine is the prettiest gun, but I’ve had people say it’s awesome looking and others say it looks derpy. Eye of the beholder I guess.

Glocks suck cocks
Jose Clark
have to agree with you there, that’s why I keep to my 1911, Sig, and IWI
Maybe not uggo but just bleh. More of the frame than the slide, really: I think the slide looks fine. But the "interchangeable" backstrap is kind of a weenie and I just don't like the lines on it (like the grip or where the takedown is). Plus the slide release is just odd looking to me, like it's gonna snap off... I know it isn't, but it just looks like it.
I should probably just buck up and buy one. I waffled on getting a 92FS for years and it turned out to be my favorite pistol I own. Everyone says the PX4 is an amazing gun, too. I should just listen and drink the Kool-Aid.
I don't even particularly care for a polymer gun but I can't deny it's so much more comfy to carry one all day over an aluminum framed gun. Now I carry an M&P M2.0 Compact and I like it but hammer-fired DA/SA pistols have always been more preferable to me. This one checks all those boxes except aesthetics, which a USP does, but they're costly and carry two rounds less (plus they seem chunkier).
Then again I seem to go from one carry gun to the next every freaking year... haven't even had this M&P for a full year yet and I'm already thinking of swapping it. Quite frankly I'm satisfied with the M&P anyway, except that it's not hammer fired DA/SA. Not sure if it's worth the rigmarole to try and sell it and get a PX4 instead. Not like a striker-fired SA pistol is gonna crap on me, it hasn't in 1,000 rounds.
Just ranting at this point.
>That's why you need a Cougar. Haha, yeah, I know it and the PX4 are basically identical except for frame material. But as much as I like metal frame pistols I don't like carrying them (begrudgingly) they wear on you after a whole day. Never did get behind the Cougar too much though, not even any other size variant of the 92 looks good (full size ones do, like M9A3 for instance or a Brig).

Was issued a hk usp when I started. It was shot, too big, too heavy, got probably half a dozen double feeds in it. Now we have a glock 21. Still too big
Ideally, glock 19 or 17. Shouldn't have double to single on a duty pistol, says me. And would rather have more shots.
Jack Edwards
its not that I dont like, its decent but the px4 feels better. I prefer the 92fs as well but its outdated by comparison
Elijah Collins
Beautiful post. I can only hope that our path will cross at some range and you shoot my guns, because that is how much joy I derived from reading your post. Basically, the issue that I’m skirting around is >You
Ethan Rivera
> I don't like carrying them I'll give you that, it's a heavy little sumbitch with a doublestack in it. You like what you like.
Asher Campbell
fellow security bro
we get these in .40 and im convinced our supervisors hate us
smaller county departments can, but thats cause the cops are local good ol boys that actually know how to shoot cities and towns are more controlled by bureaucrats who want the most simple (not the best) solutions. Its why glocks are the most popular
Kevin Hill
Damn bro, you only get one mag as well? We get 3 mags and shoot quarterly for requal which is paid

I'd love to trade my full-size for the Compact model. The sub-compact is way too small though. To me, it is a very aesthetically-pleasing pistol; I just wish the slide was a bit shorter and the safety/decocker was on the frame.
