>anything with guns in it is Jow Forums
enjoy your literal gay cowboy simulator

If it's the same dev studio then don't hold your breath, they haven't made anything for the PC platform in more than a decade.

Nah, it'll be fine. They'll just re-release it for full price on PC 2 years from now to massive fanfare and profits like the fucking corporate Jews that they are.
No I'm not salty, why do you ask?

No, I do PC. Wife might get it for playstation.

Now back to /v/ with you. Shoo.

>My wife's game

I'd rather put that money towards larping as a cowboy irl instead desu.

Can you hunt injuns?

if youre old enough to buy guns you are too old video games. are you a man or a child?

OK I've got to have a lever action now. I already have a 357 revolver, which entry level levergun should I get? Preferably under $1000

>Playing games in 2018

If people didn't game their CPU would last them 8 years, it would be twice as cheap and they would never need more than 1TB hard drives

Also curious about this one.
I'm between a Marlin 1894c and a Rossi 92.
I've heard good things about Uberti but it's a little too expensive for me.
Muh loading gate autism is stopping me from considering a Henry.

Damn right, I celebrated with the ol' number seven and some Colter Wall.

youtube.com/watch?v=39YivNpUXHw

Good ridin' and straight shootin' lads.

They are kinda expected to do so as they did the same with GTA5. I am against it beacuse it's just gonna give life to a shit ton of modders and what not.

No. Because I’m patient and can wait until it drops in price.

Oy vey

Plan on it once shekels are acquired

How dare people have fun in a way that doesn't affect you.

If they want to mod to get money and cheat in multiplayer they can do that in Minecraft or some shit instead of being so much of a lazy cunt that they refuse to play the game they paid for.

>”are you a man or a child?”
>posting on Jow Forums

this is the stupidest take I've ever seen.
If someone wants to fuck up the game for themselves, why not let them? It doesn't affect you, so fuck off. Literal gun grabber logic.
Besides, hackers are on consoles too.

Older marlins are great rifles if you're on a lower budget. As for uberti, shop around local gun shops and armslist, you'll usually find one for a decent price. Rossi 92's are generally hit or miss. I've seen some that preform flawlessly out of the box, and some that required a lot of work on the internals to work half decently.

Whoopily-doo-daa cunt, and why not let them? Because it's retarded.
They are on consoles too just not as dirty many, waiting for the day GTA5 Online replays in the old west, I get a shit ton of money because some modders had their fun, spent around a month banned for something I couldn't control and then when I get my shit back I don't have a dollar left, not even the money I made myself through playing.

>"Dude why do you want guns? That's retarded."
same logic m8ty.
Who actually thinks aiming with a controller is a good time anyway? I can't fucking stand it. You're probably gonna have the same shit happen to you in RD Online because rockstar is shit at anticheat, not because there are more hackers on PC.

Howdy partner

Marlin's are neat--try to find one that was made before Cerberus took over. The 44 magnum 1894's are a lot more common than the 357 levergats, and both go from $700 on up.

In comparison you can get the Rossi for a bit cheaper and they're a bit more plentiful. They're a bit on the rough side right out of the box--still loading gate springs and the lever throw is a bit wonky. Some shooters will get an action job to smoothen the action out a bit. The Rossi's are also available in 45LC, if you wanna go Full Cowboy.

they didn't do it with redemption cause it was spaghetti coded so badly they'd have basically have had to remake the entire game from scratch

>he doesn't have a wife or gf that plays video games
You're really missing out

>Whoopily-doo-daa cunt, and why not let them? Because it's retarded...

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED you fucking grabber

2018? Sure.

Just wait until February when Metro: Exodus comes out.

Got bored with the first one after a couple hours so probably not

Attached: 1539071894717.jpg (1058x1060, 107K)

>another open world game
I've yet to play one that doesn't bore me to death after a short amount of time. Skyrim kept my attention longer than it should have, but still lost me.
I like actual level design made to be interesting, if I want "open world" all go walk through a wildlife area with my dog and a gun.
Open world games just feel like a lazy map with a bunch of borderline copy pasta buildings and tasks.
I'd rather play an amazing 3-8hr game like DOOM than a 60-200hr open world game where 90% of the hours of it are me being borderline bored. It feels like a job more than entertainment.

Attached: please tell me more.gif (250x222, 457K)

>Stop liking things I don't like!

>they would never need more than 1TB hard drives
They'd be smarter to use a 120gb or 240gb SSD.
Most people's only reason to go above a 64gb is so that windows 10 updates have room for the windows.old folder.

Normally, I would agree with you. But the first Red Dead Redemption actually held my attention throughout the story. I took my time, had fun, and definitely got my money out of it. After the story was over, I did get bored of it. But I'm not going to complain about that, because I got more than I paid for out of it and I'm expecting RDR2 to be the same.

Based on my experience with open world games, I'll save my money. And even if I planned on getting it, I'm not wasting 60+ bucks when it'll be on a steam sale for half that within a few months(assuming it's not a console exclusive).
Glad you enjoy it so much though. But I mostly prefer shorter, more linear, and/or indy games that are either infinitely re-playable or make for an amazing few to many hours and cost very little per hour.
I've still never sunk so many hours into a game as FTL, Binding of Isaac, or probably Dead Cells as time goes on.

having to manually recock single action guns is throwing me off

I see people post this all the time but I've yet to see an actual source for it

>Are you playing the Jow Forumsest game of this year?
but that's not Dream Daddy

Attached: dreamdaddy.jpg (698x289, 68K)

Dream Daddy came out more than a year ago

It's PS4/Xbone exclusive. Not coming to PC, sorry.

>Dead Cells
This may end up being one of my most favorite games of all times tbqh

Yeah, I knew that. But red dead is a 1/10 compared to last of us, uncharted, or the halo series not coming to it.

>red dead is a 1/10 compared to last of us, uncharted, or the halo series

Of fucking course. I haven’t played video games in months but I reconnected my PS4 for this game

Reminder that the Dev team for rdr1 was disbanded or w/e sometime later after release, hence why no pc version of rdr1.

>console
lol

>man or a child
Why not both?

My nigger

I have not played

What is GTAV?

Howdy

At the end Arthur dies and you have to play John

GTA V and RDR1 weren't made by the same studio. If the team behind RDR1 is responsible for RDR2, it's not coming to PC.

Halo has been garbage since 3

Agree, but I still would like to play them at least once.
Either way, if halo's pricing model is like call of duty where they practically want 30+ bucks at all times even when years old, I'd still hesitate to buy them.
I do have halo 1 for PC, and should probably buy halo 2 for PC.
The interesting thing about halo PC is that even though the game is running at 60fps or whatever it caps at, all the animations are made for strictly 30fps so it looks a tad odd because there's missing frames in them.

Because of how many dollaridoos gtav online raked in on the sale of shark cards?

Why is everyone so hyped about this game? Even my normie friends I play PUBG and COD with were creaming themselves over it. I played RDR1, and I got bored halfway through. Fallout 4 didn't really hold my interest either. The combat and mission grinding in these open-world RPGs just gets repetitive.

Attached: 1534810165905.jpg (1408x1387, 113K)

Rossi 92s tend to be good, but may require a bit of slicking up.

Fortunately, that's not difficult to do, and they become great afterwards.

Pleb

I wish I knew. I don't think it looks like anything special at all. It's fine to want to play it, but the insane hype for it seems dumb.
It looks like your standard open world game, probably FAR more time spent on repetitive busy work and grinding than decent content.
>pot calling the kettle black

From what I remember about the first one, it was a game kept artificially long due to missions that either required extensive backtracking, or doing things like picking flowers or hunting wild game that forced you to wander around aimlessly until you RNG'd it successfully. It's why I couldn't get into the last Zelda game either. I honestly respect the scope of these open world games, but I could never get into them unless I took like a week off work just to play them. Playing a game for two hours, and only completing three or four gay little side quests isn't fun to me.

I'm excited for it because its basically the only decent wild west videogame series around.

Yeah. When I look at games like this where people want to sink hundreds of hours... I just think they'd be FAR better off finding a popular MMO like WoW or Eve Online where their labors will at least mean something in the end because it's an ongoing thing forever practically instead of being meaningless after you beat it.
I can't fault people who get sucked into game worlds like they do, but I just feel like games like these are a "consumable" like food rather than more of an investment of time in something that's likely to be around 10 years from now.

this ruins the skin

Save up for Uberti. If you value authenticity like I do, it will be worth it.

Attached: Uberti 1873 right side.jpg (666x888, 98K)

goddamn can't even get away from the advertising on Jow Forums

That game was so fucking rad when it came out.

Yeah, I get that people have different hobbies, and a lot of people would probably say all the guns I buy are pointless, because I don't have enough time or money to shoot them all, but at least firearms generally appreciate in value. This game is $60 today, but will be $20 two or three years from now. I really only play vidya to either compete with other people, or mess around with my friends. Any story-based game I play has to be short enough to where I can get hooked on the story without getting distracted. In open world games, you have to ignore the side quests, which are 90% of the game, if you want to get through the main story. Also, combat is usually simplified and repetitive, because the focus of the game is exploration.
