Is there any Jow Forums horror films besides predator and aliens? I'm going to be working nights here shortly and need something to pass the time. Any suggestions?

Wow I can’t believe “The Thing” isn’t on that list under Sci-Fi. Fantastic Jow Forums-tier horror film, thought the alien was the scariest creature in a horror film yet due to how fucking smart it was along with its ability to infect/mimic other creatures
But yea, great movie full of flamethrowers, guns, explosives, and people dying horrible deaths

Horror films are the antithesis of Jow Forums and Predator/Alien are not horror films specifically because they are Jow Forums. The element of fear is impossible to portray when the threat is being fought successfully. This is where games like Silent Hill excel, because even though you have weapons, you don't necessarily always have the means to fight.

FUCK YES. my brothers lolnerdy girlfriend acted like she was some bigtime horror fan after watching the new nightmare on elm street and some other hipster bullshit. I dropped Bone Tomahawk on them. I think it broke her paradigm of what a horror movie can be. to her credit however, she stayed the entire time and didnt bitch about it being too gory, or a western. she loves Tombstone after they watched it.
