The only mass-produced puukko that was more than 6" long is the wartime Marttiini Ilves and it's reproduction for company's 85 anniversary.
Get a good camping knife. My friend used Recon Tanto for this task. Some people like leukus.

Check out strömengand jarvenpaa for Sami knives. Jarvenpaa and ahti make good stuff still. Marttinni isn't bad either but mostly stainless.

Why get a knife when you could get a small bearded axe?
A folding knife for the detail work and a small axe for the actual heavy duty chopping and work.
While you are at it get a viking repro axe to keep the nordic theme.

If you are a reenactor, sure. Otherwise, just get a puukko. There's a reason this design has been made for over 120 years. It's just what you want from a general-purpose knife, and early medieval knives would offer you the same functionality.
The "gimmick" of langsax and skramasax knives is that they can be used as backup weapons, because you don't always carry a sword/axe, but then you need a second, smaller knife, because a 20+ centimeter blade isn't always convenient to use.

I tend to use my Spear-head instead.
