The receiver is soft aluminum that gets chewed up by brass. They need to either harden the alloy or open up the ejection port. Their metallurgy sucks ass.

Do you guys use buckshot or birdshot for the range? Locally 00 buck seems to always be almost $1 a pop, but online it's less than half that price, while birdshot seems just as cheap locally as online, if not cheaper. Is that normal?

Does the size of the brass on the shell matter?
I shot some birdshot and buckshot that had the same amount of brass height, but the birdshot kicked harder.

Is there much difference between all the different 00 buck brands if they're the same pellet count and shell size?
Looks like Fiocchi and S&B are a good bit cheaper than other brands for what seems like the same thing.

Just bought the topmost and hence my third shotgun and took it shooting today. A Winchester 1200 is a classy fucking gun and I'm in love with mine. Also tried the Franchi there in the middle for skeet. Didn't hit shit with it but I liked it.

RCMP actually. Those guns aren't really available in the US, they're popular in leafland. However, that barrel length is fine until you reduce the overall length under 26.5". That folding stock makes that gun restricted, so range-only, and requiring registration.

Are there any slugs loaded without a roll crimp? Like a regular star crimp shell with a slug instead of shot?

no I just bought one of those old milsurp Molle vests from the early 2000s and put a few dump pouches on it two big ones on the back for boxes of shot and two medium in the front which can hold around 50-75 rounds of loose shot. seems like a shitty idea but it works okay enough just fucking around. plus it only cost me like 40 dollars total just getting ebay milsurp crap

Does anyone know if Remington 870 accurate blueprints are available somewhere? If not, Mossberg 500.
I can't seem to find them online. I thought I finally found them on a forum, but they require registration and I'm not getting the confirmation email. It's a bit frustrating.

I'd like to make accessories for shotguns. I'd get one myself and measure it with a micrometer but unfortunately licenses and bureaucracy take a long time in my country, I don't think I could (legally) get my hands on the weapon before winter next year.

Like I said, that Shockwave is my bedside defense gun. It basically never leaves the house other than semi-regular trips to the range, so SAWC is not that big a deal.

If you really need the shockwave, you should atleast put a "not a stock, its a brace" on it. Guns with stocks are a lot faster to get on target and take followup shots with. I live in a pretty small apartment, so i can tell you that you can manouver a gun with a stock just fine if you practice
