Nobody needs that much power.

do they even make any guns for it
I'd rather have a .41 Magnum

what a fucking chode
it's all about that barrel

>only 2 pistols ever produced in it
>both famous for being unwieldy, picky with ammo, and ridiculously expensive
>both were discontinued in short order, and before most of Jow Forums was born

Still less power than a .45wm/.445/good .44mag.

Not in the last 20 years. If you want one, your best bet is to get a .41Mag revolver converted.

You're probably right but I'd like to believe

Last poll had the average age at 22. Which would mean 1996 as average birth year.

I'm also willing to believe that a statistically significant number of participants lied to make themselves seem older.

SHALL

Pretty much what the user below you said. I'm 21; during the last meet I went to the maximum age couldn't have been higher than 26

You're probably underestimating a lot of these guy's ages
I get told I look like I'm 18 or 20 all the time
I'm 28

Aren't they resurrecting the automag? Surely one could be converted to 10mm, if one felt the regular .44 AMP was too potent and/or $4000 was too cheap.

Hahaha babyface

Actual felt recoil at the time of firing seems quite light for so much power, but the constant torque on the wrists results w/ some needed R&R for the firing hand.

The 10mm Mag is more suited to a hunting pistol than any other role, in which role it makes more sense to take a Magnum Research BFR.

Nope.
>bought by High Standard in 1995
>High Standard is kill as of August

For every 26yo on Jow Forums there are 3 16yo's.

Yes actually. I think they start at $3k. Check out the website, there's a lot of new development to make it less finicky

I’d say there is a rimmed equivalent that is better suited

It doesn't stop people from buying Tokarevs, sans the "expensive" part but with the "shitty ammo" problem.

I'd never bother w/ hunting w/ a 10mm Mag. I'd rather take a .444 Mag BFR, at least then I can use the same rounds for that as I do w/ my Marlin M444S.

Pick one

Honestly, that would make a certain kind of sense -- your choice of power vs. capacity tradeoff by stuffing the tube with 10mm mag, 10mm, or .40 (the latter two headspacing off the extractor).
But I'm not sure what sort of feed mechanism you're gonna need to handle all 3 cartridge lengths, and still deliver them with the rim under the extractor.
