I’m was on a delta squad for about a year and a half, but after I broke my leg the airsoft league replaced me with a kid from out of state

No

If you really think of it, it wouldn't suprise me one bit if autistic airsofters had selection processes for their shitty clubs/teams

>It’s a three day selection starting with a gruelling PT session moving into a night navigation exercise with 25kg weight !!
>In return the candidates move in to phase 2 which is a 15 mile point to point with the 25kg weight !!
>Phase 3 starts with battlefield PT and then with the remaining candidates in to Battlefield training !!
>Phase 4 is a ultra realistic combat mission with an active hunter force ( Stirling team ) when the candidates are captured the next phase begins , which is a very dark place !!
>Phase 5 is RTI ( resistance to interrogation ) this has been known to go on for up to 15 hrs !! Who ever is standing at the end is then interviewed by the DS and asked where they see them selves within the team.

>fucking airsoft SERE

Attached: oh christ.gif (360x270, 2.27M)

done some cool stuff for the Department of Corrections. Some had to be earned, some I was a natural choice.

>resistance to interrogation
Secretly they're all into bdsm and they enjoy that shit

Imagine all the rectums filled with bbs

Got on a special operations task force as EOD. Was neat.

I was in RASP September 8 2001. 3 days later army held all schools and sent us back to our units

Yes i did

Got sequestered before I could hear back from MARSOC after I submitted my packet.
Oh well, you win some you lose some.
At least I have all of my limbs and most of my sanity.

I quit selection for the SAS when I fell into a bog during night navigation and nearly drowned, that's when I decided the army was not for me.

> that's when I decided the army was not for me
So the previous 3+ years of getting fucked around weren't any indication but getting a bit wet was? I call bullshit on that lad.

Got med dropped from RIP twice. Passed air assault and airborne. Never got a chance at Pathfinder school.

Getting wet is one thing, being alone in the dark during winter after inhaling stinking slime is another, I could taste that shit for days.

So you had enough motivation and determination to join the army, get through training, serve for at least 3 years, apply for selection, get through some of the first few navs, and then falling in a bog threw all that out the window and you decided to leave the army at that point..? Must have been one really shite bog.

Piss too judging by the taste.

>passing "green weenie wont let me leave the barracks or evacuate because im in the barracks" training
>in the common area, chilling out on phone which has 5% left, towers are being overloaded so no 4g
>reach for my Gatorade bottle filled with the precious raspberry mix from an mre
>sip it
>tastes like mint, thick, floating particulates
>realize instantly what it was
>instantly projectile spit the mysterious liquid
>look at Gatorade bottle, gagging and trying not to vomit
>someone replaced my bottle with their mudjug, same coloration in fluid
>guys laughing at me
>get pissed off and vomit everywhere

didn't pass hurricane boredom survival training

I think he's saying he wasn't inclined to make a career out of it.

Went through Recon indoc course, caught pneumonia, swapped out to the regular grunts.

That's where I learned that blue is the tastiest crayon.

I did the indoc for my BN sniper team and passed spent 4 months as a PIG and if I had stayed in would have gone to Scout Sniper School.

I'm on the mall security rapid reaction force, we're allowed to have pepper spray unlike the rest of the segway grunts OORAH

yeah I attended selection for the marines, unfortunately I got a lower back injury a month into boot camp and got discharged

>quiting a selection
>ever

do you carry ceramic plates in your briefcase?

I was essentially a CCT for the air force when i deployed

I worked undercover for a sheriffs department for about a year and joined some local crime rings. This was several years ago but I was chosen because i
>was young and they were going for a 21 jump street kind of thing
>post military so they assumed that meant I was some jason borne type
>recently hired and nobody knew who the fuck I was

ask me anything

I applied for NUPOC and didn’t get an interview for the first board and didn’t reapply because I realized I didn’t want to be a nuke, AMA

how many cocks have you sucked in your life?

>Airsoft
>resistance to interrogation

Attached: cyberpunk-2077-e3-trailer-2_feature.jpg (1919x1080, 104K)

You can still get waterboarded during an airsoft game

>post military so they assumed that meant I was some jason borne type

Only true part of this.

Went for Para Rescue. Passed the fitness qualifications, failed eyesight. Feels bad man.

Ended up doing three combat tours in Iraq and saw a fuckton of action working with OSI going downtown every single day as a security forces designated marksman and driver/navigator.

I miss the military so much. I pray every day for a war to break out in the U.S. so I can get back into the shit. God damn I miss it.

Attached: chuck-norris-decoation.jpg (600x400, 84K)

how was the training for para? and what was the day too day like for OSI?

Ive wanted to be a ranger for years but everyone and their mother tells me to go airforce so ive been looking into their SOF units

joining the game counts as consent

Dip-niggers need to be executed

Para rescue looked hard as shit once you got into physical training, (but I only know that from online videos). But there are other fields like TAC-P and Combat Controllers that are pretty tough.

OSI was fun. We were like fucking bandits out there.

>failed eyesight

>Standard: Must be at least 20/70 or better in both eyes and both correctable to 20/20 with glasses.

>Must have normal color vision.

>Waiver possibilities: If one eye is 20/70 or better and other no worse than 20/200, or if both eyes are no worse than 20/100.

>Note: PRK and LASEK surgery is approved by AF. Applicant must wait one year after procedure, pre and post conditions must be met. LASIK is not approved for military freefall.

Do you need a seeing-eye-dog or something? How the fuck did you fail that

Attached: GIMPSOC.jpg (297x170, 8K)

So you couldn't hack it baiscly. Kudos for trying.

any recommendations if I were to go for para?

Same for OSI, was that your MOS before going to para?

SFAS/SFQC

>SFQC

So how'd that go, user?

OSI is a bitch to get into as they do not pipeline, meaning you have to join the Air Force and apply after a few years, they also do a big background check as stirct as the other three letter organizations

First time go all the way through actually. Was in med hold for a little while from stress fractures in both tibias from selection but otherwise straightforward.
Anybody interested in going can pick my brain, granted this was over 4 years ago and the q course is drastically changing soon.

They also do stereopsis tests, not the same guy, but that might have got him.

How does it feel being a lying piece of shit who fucks over his fellow American?

>muh SOG

Yeah, I went to Green Beret selection THREE fucking times and washed out all three times due to injury. (Severe concussion/TBI, Broken ankle, and collapsed lung during a bad jump)

>be a glasses fag
>want to get PRK but don't want to wait a year to enlist

i'd imagine it's really inconvenient to wear stupid fucking glasses in the military. Is it possible to get it done after joining? Not on their dime of course.

Nice, how's things been? What MOS did you end up with?

That reminds me, I gotta buddy who skated thru the Q without having to get a language about that time (like 3-4 years ago), never heard why, he was 2/75 prior tho, so I just figure they assumed he couldn't read, but did all you guys get that lucky?

Got put in for sniper school while i was in 3/3 cav but i broke my kneecap so that got fucked

>Want to be a PJ
>Dr. Operator here I come
>Train for years
>Basically a death dealing P.A.
>Find out I have to put lenses in my PPE
>Fuckthat.jpg
>OTH discharge

So you never got your vision corrected and just never enlisted?

yes

Got commo which was my first choice. Best thing that ever happened to me. Never heard of someone not going to language unless they already spoke a language and tested out of it. That could definitely be the case

>Wanted to join the seals
>Start seriously working out
>Get up to a sub 8 min swim time
>100+ push ups in under two mins
>110+ sit ups in under two mins
>30+ pull ups
>Sub 9 min 1.5 mile run time
>Running ~35 miles on track and trails per week
>Deadlifting?
>"Fuck, lets see how much I can deadlift"
>Blow out my L5 like a fucking idiot
Thus concludes my story about how I didn't even get to try.

I had offers to play football from air Force, Navy and West point.
I found that out way after college.
My mom threw the letters out and hung up on the coaches.
I hate my mom with every inch of my heart

>where is Ricky Ranger for this thread

Sometimes I miss the old tripfags who were confirmed hardasses.

Should have read the sticky senpai

that thing belongs on a cross ..

Sorry senpai. It sounds incredibly physical and rough.

>>wanted to join the military

me too bud. i just comfort myself by knowing it would have been shit, ruined my joints, and the leaf military sucks balls

Attached: peperetardcanadian2.jpg (1000x800, 61K)

yeah as much as i like to think i could motivate myself to try operator shit i probably am not that guy, id most likely end up guarding some missle site in bumfuck montana. i just wanted to shoot some guns and be operator user, life is boring.

Attached: largepep.png (420x420, 9K)

I was put in special ed in high school, does that count?

>got cucked by 19 camel jockies
Kek

I did that shit for fun as a kid. Youre a faggot.

he still comes around pretty often

Were you ex-intel or just a cool looking ex-mil dude?

>leaf operator caught on film durring a cross border raid - circa 2017

SFAS 2008. When they were test running 14 day classes. A class or two after me a dude got whacked by a bunch of baby copperheads and died. Then they started making guys carry GPS trackers in their kit, as seen on that Discovery channel special when they rolled that dude up sleeping under his poncho. It was brutal shit.

This is a hooah free zone.
What is your roster number candidate?
Roll left, roll right, roll over the weak.

Didn't make it. It's ok. I was a 25C and landed in Group Support for a decade anyway.

What's changing? I'm not high-speed enough but a buddy of mine is and he's thinking about dropping a packet in a year or two. He has the drive and PT score, plus he's a solid dude so I think he'd make it.

Also curious because my uncle was an early 80s SF baby and did that for 8 years, so I'm wondering what changed.

How old are you? I went to basic with a few 31 year olds and they were/are great soldiers.

20/100 isn't that out of the ordinary, both my eyes are worse than that

>What's changing?
Not that user but, SWCS shit changes on a constant basis. Class to class, needs of the Army to needs of the Army. It really doesn't matter how solid you are. If command tells the cadre that X amount of dudes can pass and no more, and they're left with solid dudes, a solid dude is going to cut for being the last guy to PT formation in the morning. It's rude shit, but тaкoвa жизнь в зoнe.

Im 23 now, but fat and out of shape and trying to get federal license for aviation maintenance. I know I can still sign up but familial pressures on me to do this thing instead of a pipedream I had at 17 for the military would probably not go well.

I dunno if I could even get in now since my wrist and shoulder are fucked from a motorcycle accident.

I know that feel
mom broke a disk in her back and died retired right before it, we had basically no income and I was guilt tripped into staying for an extra 5 years cause my lazy ass father would quit every part time job he got in under a month and mom did want to deal with the fuss of surgery and physical therapy. I was 18 and they had me under their thumb so I didnt enlist at all. Got a pretty sweet EMT though and a cute GF who likes guns but Im 3 towns away from my parents and cut off all contact. I hope my spite takes them to an early grave

>101st air assault
>had dreams of green berets or delta since I was a boy
>4 years in the Army had me fried, hated most of my superiors and all the glory of the military life was red pilled out of me
>had a chance for SF selection
>most of those guys were lifers wuth 15 plus years in the army
>pass on that shit
>read of how SF and other related units are immune to such military BS as the rest of us
>sometimes still wonder what could have been

Attached: 590.png (640x480, 248K)

Went to summer rasp class & was a heat casualty

Are you American? Get your A&P and join the National Guard as a Blackhawk repairer. Eventually you can get flight status flying bitch in the back.

Beats being a grunt any day.

sounds about right

Like the other user said it's always changing. This time it sounds like they are reducing the length of the course and the standards. It definitely sounds like they want to push guys through since retention rate at group is really low.

>Marine Option NROTC, soph year
>crushed the ASTB
>Got a letter of guarantee for flight school provided I pass OCS and graduate on time
>life is good
>dad goes to jail for tax evasion
>get super-depressed
>quit and move back home

Dumbest decision of my life. I have a good life now but always wonder what it would have been like to drop bombs in Afghanistan.

>since retention rate at group is really low.
Because all the mid career NCO's and Officers that enjoy life are saying fuck this shit and ETS'ing the hell out. I had a conversation about a year ago with a 20 something 18X that survived to be a B and this kid was a hardcore liberal gun control weirdo. "Civilians have no business with assault weapons. The military and law enforcement need to the be the ones handling situations like that" And the shit show failures of every level like the Niger ambush are really putting out the negative waves man.

What we really need is a real peer force conflict against a standing army. It would be a healthy thing for the whole country. Really give everyone a good appreciation for life and comfort again.

Not really cool guy units but I got my Bachelors in Biology and have been a Paramedic for 5 years. I was working for County Sheriff SAR for the past 2 years after I got my FP-C and recently I got onto one of the State Task Forces and am about to go to
Fort Sam Houston
to go through 68W course here in about a month with hopes that I can get on as a flight medic.

It's been fun.

>>reach for my Gatorade bottle filled with the precious raspberry mix from an mre

I bet you'd drink piss from a water bottle too.

Oh, a namby-pamby TS?

>>OTH discharge
OTH = Other Than Honorable.
He was a fuck-up

Yep! The Short bus

This ain't no "tit's and time stamp", faggot.
Class number

Just because you watch "Discovery" doiesn't mean squat.

t. Class 03-88, the last easy class before SFAS

I had to fill in a captcha.

Does it even matter that I don't remember my class number? It was a decade ago. September of '08. And I didn't even survive. I was an IVW med drop for hamburger hands on a rainy day ammo crate carry team event.

just 19D OSUT, hooah
scouts out

>platoon daddy told me he could help get me into SOT-A
>told him no, I was trying to get my ski on
>skiing is rad

>coming up on ETS, retention NCO keeps hounding me
>hey user you can reup for 160th, it comes with a 20k bonus for green platoon
>told him no, I was trying to get my college on
>college is rad

>getting through green platoon*

Pussy. I remember my class number from 30 years ago.

almost, i applied for navy seals but failed at penis inspection day
