I do it on a few of them for picture purposes, but yeah, the vz look way better IMO with a 10rd mag. Plus it makes an already light & compact gun extra light and compact, especially when I slap the folder on there and bag it up loaded.

I like how my vz folder feels, I've pretty much hated all other wire-ish folder stocks I've felt on other guns. I guess this one just fits me and works exactly how I like when it comes to swinging it out quick.
And yeah, it's an m60 barrel bag. A friend of mine had to get one too when he saw mine. He has the vz2008 gun and it works great other than he can't throw his gun in there with his 30rd mags.
I have no idea how it'd work with an ak since all my folders have 18.5-23.3 inch barrels. It'd only take a tiny bit more barrel length before my vz wouldn't fit. An ak with a brake, or even a vz with a brake could be an issue. I suppose google would yield some results, you can't be the only one to think of it.
I have some spare repro stocks that look nice, but I've thought about attempting the amber shellac route in the past.

I love it and am looking at getting a Match Pro or one of the fancy DA/SA guns in .38 Super. Slide feels like butter, great trigger, nice and heavy with fuckall recoil, zero issues after thousands of rounds and several years of use. I've heard shitty things about older guns and the polymer guns that aren't the Match Pro.

Interesting. Cz type guns don’t work for me that well in most cases. Either the safety was to hard to engage/disengage (like the witness for me) the slide release felt too far up (MANY czs for me) or a fucking slide mounted safety (like jerichos) that made racking the slide just an ass. Shooting though was pretty sweet in most cases. Tbh I’ll probably just end up getting another glock... Glad you like it though.

The 40rd aluminum mag they sent with the rifle fit fine however the 30rd HK steel mags I had would not fit unless I pressed the mag in on a hard surface while pushing down on top of the rifle. Numerous people have said their steel mags fit fine out of the box so it seems to be a crapshoot. After working in the steel magazines 10-15 times I can now insert them by hand and have them lock in. ProMag magazines will have to be filed to fit (very easy to do) where the mag catch seats on their magazines.
The paddle release install was pretty time consuming as I only had hand tools and a cheap welder. I would recommend paying the $150 or whatever to have it done professionally unless you already have the tools laying around to attempt it.

Lighting and a tripod will save you a lot of grief on the cheap.
I use some eBay rechargeable 10w flood lights that work beautifully to allow my camera to pick up details it’d always miss with normal lighting. Receiver sides etc are just a dark blurry mess without the lights.
A couple of pic related on either side of your camera makes a world of difference.

2nd one down is actually a 30-06. Its not a great photo + I dont have its scope mounted atm + pump action is a uncommon action for that gun so easy to mistake for something else but I would consider it a real rifle. My next purchase is probably going to be a shotgun since I dont own on e yet... unless i come across something I cant resist or some one convinces me I need something else more first
