If it's a thick heel, and it doesn't exceed 2.5 inches in height it's much easier to walk in than stilettos and wouldn't entirely be a hindrance in active movement. Otherwise most Bayonetta tier heels in combat are purely fiction. Flat soled boots/shoes will always be the most sensible choice of footwear for extended time on feet.
