There was a change recently, which did away with bullet-buttons. As of now fixed magazines require a partial disassembly of the firearm action to count as fixed, so featureless (kydex wrap for instance) setups have become more popular.
There is a BB2.0 where you hinge the upper open on an AR-15 to drop the magazine as well.
