Ukraine shit show dried up our supply of Russian 7.62x39 but we still have a consistent flow of Chink shit at around 30c/round (~.23c usd) per 1500.

What's the x39 situation for you guys?

Legit surplus is almost non-existent but new production imports have made up for it pretty well.
Some yugo stuff comes in now and again, but why would you ever want to shoot corrosive ammo when it's practically the same price, if not more than good commercial ammo like golden tiger?
But good commercial brands can normally be had for 20-25 cents per round after shipping, so not bad.

Modern production ammo isn't much more than the surplus, and it's non corrosive. There's literally a thread right now with 762x54r for 30cpr, which is not bad for non corrosive ammo and x39 modern production has been dropping in price for the past year.

lucky goys. Our cheapest new productions shit goes between 40-60cpr, or over $1/round if you buy generic made in america AE.

There's amazingly high quality 7.62x51mm Belgian/German for $0.38/Round for boxer, brass ammo and that's a better price than some of the imported Russian/Silver Bear stuff.

It's actually a bit cheaper, 22.2c/r after shipping when you see the red army standard reboxed GT too.
I'd pay an extra few cents per round all day to have golden tiger over wolf or barnaul/bear.

Current production 5.45 spam cans are still available. It's basically Wolf so it's no 7N6 but it's still like 27¢ a round.

I have a can of that. It's good stuff and would be pretty tough to tell the difference between it and surplus because it's sealed up beautifully too.

I would rather have ammo prices cheaper because it allows EVERYONE the affordability at the great equalizer, and if its cheap than that means you can train more often without having to worry about how much ammo you have left for a rainy day. Prices for new production ammo will never return to what they were before Obama became president, and it's now necessary to reload to match the price of non steel cased shit ammo that you could get from just walking into your local gun store or Walmart before Obama. I'm worried about what might happen if there's another run on guns, especially if Trump or the current Republicans do something to cause gun owners to lose faith in them since that will mean non stop scares with no breaks whatsoever.

I've shot corrosive ammo since 2009, it's not hard no...
But there's no reason to subject yourself to it when you could just put your gun away for a week till you feel like shooting again instead of paying the same or more for corrosive ammo.
