Why do you need to be convinced? They look awesome

It’s for trap / prepping. I am trying to decide whether to get it over a more modern and cheaper choice like a franchi affinity 3

trap/skeet - Y.

Preps? No. Go pump.

If you need a do-all gun? Pump.

If you want to do all shotgun sports? Auto.

If you wnat to focus on Skeet: O/U.

The end.

>implying O/U isn’t good for all shotgun sports

Is there any reason to get a side by side instead of an under over?

Old west aesthetic but I think the O/U also has that aesthetic. If cut down then a side by side will be better

Side by side's better for birds & clays

No thats over unders side by side is good for cowboy larp and winking at homos

You can reload those fuckers much faster than you think with a bit of practice, and you have an immediate, 100% reliable follow up shot.

WHat do you hold shells in? R u talking Pocket reloads

side by side is for faggots and poor people

>not owning at least one of each

when climbing the corporate ladder, you will eventually be invited to sporting clays, trap or skeet match. You don't want to look like a complete dork to all those robber barons who are about to decide you and your family's future.

buy an O/U shotgun, OP, or you're a fag.

>what is 3gun

Sorry I don’t larp as John wick for fun

Any reccomendations?

Stoeger condor is a decent one for a not bad price. Only complaint is it's got a thumb switch to fire the second barrel

They make dope sawed-offs

>competitive shooting is larping
Outed yourself as a nogunz or retard

Should I get a Stoger coach gun or O/U for a truck gun? Or just use my ratty old M500?

You get a much more natural swing with a sxs than with a O/U. I always use em for bird hunting, but I haven't messed around with shotgun sports so ya may be right there.

Don'y get an Affinity/Affinity 3. I've sent every one we've sold in the last 8 months back to Benelli for repair/warranty work. If you're looking at Auto my reccomendation would be either a Benelli M2 or a Beretta A300 or an A350 for a do all gun

Keep telling yourself that

You have two hands.

Marlin Model 90 will get you into Club O/U as cheaply as possible

Balance is all when shooting clays.
Since a break action does not have a bolt, it balances closer to the trigger guard. This leads to a more natural swing and better point shooting.
The most important thing is getting a stock that fits you, though. "The barrels shoot, the stock hits".
Also that Benelli looks like shite.
