Also glad to see it's not in the garbage 7.62×39 round.

You could have just said that. It's not like your trolling is subtle.
2/10, saw through it instantly

AK12 imports when?

This. The Rape whistle of death was easily the best and most advanced russian invention.

>ahem
its spelled askew

too expensive for regular grunts. special forces can use them though.

Retard

Soviets abandoned the 7.62x39 round for frontline service when they adopted the AK-74...

It's still widely used. The photos of recent Russians in Syria showed that. But those may just be spec ops guys that use whatever caliber they want.

And too finicky. Doesn't perform great with poor maintenance.

most syrians are using 7.62x39 so the russian spec ops uses it too for logistics reasons

>AK-12
>post a pic of AK-200
>doesn't know AK-15 exist

There are modern pictures of Russian using the 7.62x39 as suppressor host or for city combat even the GIGN use it

Russian spec ops use Suppressed AKM with subsonic 7.62x39

Wouldn't they also use it because 7.62x39 is more effective on unarmored humans than 5.45?

No, because it's not

I think it's sometimes used in urban areas to penetrate cover

you know they develop all of the new AK variant in 7.62x39 as well as 5.45?

>The AEK-973 is chambered in 7.62×39mm. It uses all of the standard 7.62×39mm AK-47, AKM and RPK magazines.

>There were two base models that were introduced, the AK-12 which is chambered in 5.45×39mm cartridge and the AK-15 which is chambered in 7.62×39mm cartridge.

> the AK-109 is a less known and produced version chambered in 7.62×39mm.
they still make them because 7.62x39 is more popular than 5.45

Unfortunately everyone except the Russians that field AKs are on 7.62x39. Face it, 5.45 lost.

I figure, Russia, their neighbors, and allies all stockpile 7.62x39 like we do .22lr. There's always demand for the common caliber model.

Literally Soviet version of scar
