Be Sig Sauer

Ok

You forgot:
>New P225 isn't actually a P225
>Can't use P225 magazines or parts

The only good SIG Sauer is a german made one.
Stay away from us made shitboxes.

Same with the M11-A1 w/ "P228" grips. Its just a fatter P229 with ejection issues.

Unironically, true.

The NuSig is shit. Old sig was good.

Sig has the most ADHD product line I've seen from any gun company. Every gun they sell comes in a thousand different trim levels.

Why though. Most of them are unappealing as fuck. Make a black and FDE version and focus on then not shitting the bed.

>be a faggot
>post faggot stuff
>nobody cares
>faggotry!

>be SIG
>outsource parts to India
>charge $700 for the most basic model
>despite both CZ and Beretta legacy designs of the same time period being $200 less, and actually made in nations that used toilets
>$1000 for a model with fancy grips and a fucking token
>somehow sell enough to stay in business

because (((Cohen))) turned it into a life style brand with 40 different product lines that aren't guns and aims for the gunshow boomer crowd that buys moldy labia 1911's

Does Sig ever have a chance of getting better or is Cohen 100% gonna run it into the ground and leave?

probably will stay around the same, overpriced and middling
can't wait for the 320 to be a trainwreck in long term military service to retroactively vindicate the 92

>Someone in Sig's leadership gave this design the green light

it's like the budk catalog started selling firearms

>Be Sig Sauer
>Churn out shit for years
>Have the gall to charge a premium for it, banking entirely on the name
>People still buy it
If that's not the definition of success, I don't know what is.

My LGS has a West German frame P226 that the owner carried for years. It’s in good shape but it’s in 40. What do.

Price?

I Think it’s low 500s, good shape (was a red label before the owner got it), he added better sights and comes with holsters. I think I’d jump on it at 400 but how much is the German frame adding value?

Frames are still made in germany. The older stamoed carbon steel slides were made in germany. Milled stainless slides have been made in the US since 1992.

So it’s pretty much nothing special and don’t worry about passing it up?

Can you swap the barrel for a .357 sig? If so I'd go for it, if not I dunno. Depends on if you want to carry a .40.

This.

I’d get it. 40 gets shit on a lot but
>more fun to shoot than 9mm if you like recoil like I do
>not much of a price increase over 9
>still have pretty good capacity
>marginal performance increase

Because they're for mallnijas with money.

Is there anything with the P230/PPK's aesthetics that isn't chambered in something anemic?

its basically as hefty as the p229 or m11a1 models, so whats the point?
at least the p239 tried to round out the edges

With 9mm vs 40 S&W, how much faster does 40 wear out a guns internals? I’m still a bit new to firearms but I keep reading 40s have a lot lower life expectancy and I’m concerned if I’m buying a used one where the round count is unknown.

My first gun was a sig sp2022 in 40. Don't shoot it as much anymore, maybe 7 or 8k down the pipe. Swapped the hammer spring maybe 2k ago and just put a new recoil spring in it last month. Everything is still running fine.
